  1. Away at Walsall or Shrewsbury town. Certainly not ideal, definitely not one I'd choose, but in comparison to some of the others on here, Id take it.
  2. Why would anyone want a tricky tie away at this stage? Home draw vs someone in a lower league please
  3. Its all about getting to round 3 Warrington at home please Worst tie possible? Bristol City away
  4. Not going to lie, the 2nd one is what I feared. I hope after one defeat he doesn't panic and go off the handle for no reason. We lost to a dodgy free kick to the runaway leaders... sod it. Move on. Look for ways to improve by all means, but a bollocking wasn't in order. Neither are drastic changes,
  5. Im pretty sure that street running towards tge church and morrisons is Cherwell avenue and the house on the left is my best mates.
  6. Having moved from Norden to Heywood in the last 6 months... Where is the posh bit of heywood?!
  7. I don't talk about any on here. I can't be arsed.
  8. I'm going to keep my views private on certain subjects as they are no one elses business, but I want to know why on here you only post about latics or polictical subjects? It's a football messageboard, I realise this part of it is for other subjects - but I suspect, most people - well me anyway. Just find it pretty tiresome. The views of most on here are pretty plain. You wont be changing theirs, and they won't be changing yours. The argument you will make, is "Dont read them then"... I don't. I don't come on here for a political debate. There are other forums for that.
  9. Id laugh if someone picked my mates who has a dale season ticket.
  10. Yes I was, well remembered! We went off on one from that point.
  11. At the time it was the biggest crowd at the JJB (about 13,500 I think). We took about 4500 if memory serves. The huddersfield one I mention was the last game of the season. Carrs scored
  12. I I have only done 2 away games so far this season (Bristol City and Peterborough) due to not being able to afford more, but I have a season ticket. I can hand on heart say that on Saturday, whilst I did enjoy it, it wasn't as much as I enjoyed Bradford, Coventry or leaving the Walsall and Scunthorpe games. Maybe I'm just more about winning than the day out?
  13. How many other teams will have a bigger league away attendance than fans who went to a home league game this season? I know there are a few people who only do away games, because our home games, (where we are top of the home form table having won 5 on the bounce) are boring compared to away games - where we have won one all season. Over 1000 went to Chesterfield. Over 33% of our home gate vs Coventry. To me it is a strange mentality. 3200 have been sold for Rochdale. With perhaps a hundred in the home end. Can anything be done to change this? Keep winning at home is probably all we can do
  14. Porter got 2. He had just come bsck from injury. They were top or 2nd. We were about 16th. That is in my top 10 away performances Ive ever seen.
  15. I went to hull as a kid (I was 6) in the championship season. Ny first ever league away game after the FA Cup semi at Maine Road. That hull game there seemed to be thousands.. but I was a kid. Other league big followings I remember being at.. Villa 92/93 Blackpool 97 Wigan and Huddersfield 2003
  16. They have said pay on the day for home fans so, no they have not started selling tickets yet. I have just been on the dale board to see about this.. but what I did notice is another person annoyed about the McDonalds banner. What a gimp.
  17. The last time I remember a sizable number of latics in the home end was 97 ish. We drew 2-2 vs Blackpool. Barlow got 2. Vs Stockport there were only a few. Personally Id go in the stand opposite. Ive been in there last year for Dale vs Northampton. It was like our main stand. Apart from my mate and his dad... They are psychos... Watch out for those two
  18. Someone told me that its because: If they print 3200 unallocated, count them incorrectly and actually 3235 (for example ) are given to us, it isnt a problem. If they give us another 400 now, where do the extra 35 go? 1 per allocated seat means that can't happen, all seats are accounted for.
  19. Their fans didnt sing so the drum did help. I'm glad it went
  20. One of us has had to pull out at the last minute. If anyone is travelling down without a ticket. PM me. Face value.
  21. To be fair, I agree about their points about how laughable most of this thread is, but his (or her) reaction brought a smile.
  22. I wasn't being serious about the McDonalds banner. I can't belive it annoyed someone on there enough to be all snooty... "I presume they haven't cottoned on that this company has two outlets in Rochdale, (Kingsway and Sandbrook Park) ergo they haven't left Rochdale because it's "so :censored:"... Gutted!
