  1. I don't think there will be that many in that stand. 200 maybe 300 at most. 300 would be a 2500 turnout. I can't see there being many more.
  2. They could find it easier to stick the excess in the south stand. It is never that full. Easier to police if 400 or so Latics fans were up the same end as the ticketholders
  3. Got to guess that either the Police or Bury are not 100% happy with giving us both ends.
  4. No -that tweet Diego quotes is from last night. The club have now said it's pay on the day now in the opposite side. That was them confirming the options EDIT - The club have now deleted that and it's not on the website
  5. That is the first pub I ever got served in. Happy times.
  6. I presume they haven't bothered - if its pay on the day in that stand, why buy a ticket? There are 1600 behind that goal - we wont be selling all of those
  7. Mick Fletcher. Tranmere away 1st Sept 2001. BASTARD,
  8. I live in Heywood and get the 163 every day. It's shit
  9. https://tfgm.com/public-transport/tram Saturday night - not during the day
  10. Yeah, so just make it all ticket. No ticket - no entry.
  11. I wish they'd have just made the game all ticket. If we sell 1800 of 2200, there could be a load more turn up on the day and cause issues like a few years ago. 2200 is about what we will take I suspect (see Blackburn). I have bought a ticket, but having to get there at 2:15 /to make sure I get in is a bit annoying. Make it all ticket - sell it out and then if needed ask for a few more. Simple.
  12. https://www.eticketing.co.uk/oafc/EDP/Event/Index/1247 Make sure you select an area (seating) at the bottom.
  13. We are 10 clear of Bury with 12 to go. 7 in front with 11 left is definitely catchable. I don't think 13 from 11 is. (With the momentum we would have) Saturday is a very big game.
  14. Is it all ticket? Or Pay on the day?
  15. Trump isnt due here til October
  16. How long is the beast from the east supposed to last for? Will this game be on? Pitches are notoriously bobbins after snow too. Can imagine this being a battle.
  17. I agree with that. I do remember a post on here earlier this season that said something along the "lines of we should never be being beaten by teams like Shrewsbury"... well they are top of the league. I for one hope they go up.
  18. Im too young to know about what it was like in the 60s or 70s, but the sense of entitlement is a big one for me. That has crept in over the last 10 years. "We should never lose to team x, y or Z" is spewed out as if we have a given right to turn up and win. These same people dont think we should never beat Liverpool for example. The self congratulatory nature of how many fans we take to places & teams like Rochdale don't is bizarre. The day we took 2300 to Blackburn, pompey took 6000 to MK Dons... we aren't any more special than anyone else.
  19. Davies would definitely get a game for me - Davies is a handful, holds it up and I think he is a great partner for either. I don't think Doyle and the Duck would do as well personally.
  20. Really? He wasn't awful on Saturday, but clearly a weak link for me. Moimbe had no protection & Pringle has no pace.
  21. I have liked him in all 3 games he has played, but clearly not that fit as he hits a wall on 60 mins or so. To say he has been playing for Coventry and is only young, that is a worry.
  22. I can't stand United. Everyone else I dont care about. I dislike players or managers who we come up against regularly. Tranmere was a good rivalry of sorts. I never liked them, but it's not a big dislike cos Id like to see them come back up.
  23. Played well in the 3-3 vs Burnley too. Scored and was a proper handful. He wasn't Lewandowski, but I always thought he was a lot better than perceived
