    We got ripped to pieces by a patched up who have had no pre season and thred bare squad. I expected a solid point at least, not to absolutely humiliated and humbled like we were.

    That would be the common sense approach but we tend to do things differently here?.

    I’m not suggesting for one minute he’s not here in a month but realistically who is out there that could get us up?. Forget Pete Wild his stock is League 1 and will have eyes on the championship. The post match interview with John was so lacklustre and didn’t give me much confidence. We all are a bit shell shocked but it was just a pan faced response.

    Well that was anti climax, it couldn’t have been planned any worse. Already on the backfoot, especially against a team that’s had no pre season .

    Pretty confident with this, we’ve got goals in us so I’d be disappointed if we didn’t get at least 2 or 4 today. Their fans may as well turn out but an early goal will quickly quieten them down.

    Good luck to him, I applaud anyone who wants to better his career. Proper gamble though, he’s been a nomad, got himself settled at the club and puts it all on the line to be a trialist elsewhere.

    I said earlier that we had 5 signatures ready to come in. The 3 permanents are what I was told, the last two haven’t worked out. I believe from my source that we are offering two players plus cash for the Scunthorpe player. Hope and the lad who plays on the wing (Tollitt) apparently. The 5th player will sign this week. Two loan players already done. Happy days…

    Six players have already verbally agreed terms to come in when their current contracts expire at their current clubs. I don’t know who they are but getting business done early is brilliant.

    He’s a man who knows what he might be going through, this is mess. What I won’t stand for is personal abuse, not now or anytime. If I heard anyone hurling that garbage I’d be the first one to shut them up.
