  1. I cant believe Gran Turismo 5 still hasnt been released yet!!! That is a game I cannot wait to be released!!!
  2. Its ok saying our recent revival, but bearing in mind mk dongs had half a team out and are playing for absolutely nothing, and had flahavan not pulled off that last minute (fortunate) save we would still all be whinging about how s**t we still are. And my prediction is more of a worst case scenario for us. I dont see us picking up anything less than 3pts from our last 5 pts but anything more i feel will be a bonus. Maybe we can get a point or two at Carlisle & Yeovil and when we play Charlton we will probably be safe anyway and they will more than likely be chasing automatic and will have everything to play for. Southampton is a defeat no doubt about it in my eyes.
  3. Hartlepool: Colchester Home (D) - Walsall Away (L) - Exeter home (D) - Brentford Away (L) = 2pts (Possible 3pt deduction leaves them on -1pts) Oldham: Carlisle Away (L) - Southampton Away (L) - Southend Home (W) - Yeovil Away (L) - Charlton (L) = 3pts Exeter: Tranmere Away (D) - Charlton Home (L) - Hartlepool Away (D) - Huddersfield Home (D) = 3pts Leyton Orient: Stockport Home (W) - Millwall Away (L) - Wycombe Home (D) - Colchester Away (L) = 4pts Gillingham: Leeds Home (L) - Norwich Away (L) - Southampton Home (L) - Wycombe Away (L) = 0pts Tranmere: Exeter Home (D) - Brentford Away (L) - Colchester Away (L) - Millwall Home (L) - Stockport Away (W) = 4pts Southend: Brighton Home (W) - Oldham Away (L) - Stockport Home (W) - Southampton Away (L) = 6pts Wycombe: MK Dons Away (L) - Swindon Home (D) - Leyton Orient Away (D) - Gillingham Home (W) = 5pts Stockport: Leyton Orient Away (L) - Huddersfield Home (L) - Southend Away (L) - Tranmere Home (L) = 0pts ________________________________________________________________________________ ___________ Thats my prediction which means the table will look like this come end of season: 16 Oldham 50 17 Exeter 49 18 Leyton Orient 49 19 Hartlepool 47 20 Southend 45 21 Tranmere 45 22 Gillingham 44 23 Wycombe 43 24 Stockport 25 Nothing unreasonable in my predictions there i think.
  4. Tranmere are effectively 7 pts behind with that hideous goal difference of their's. Hopefully we will beat Sarfend at home but i really do think 1 more point will definitely be enough.
  5. I'd still rather get rid but only if we can replace him with someone decent, not just a panic appointment thus resulting in a similar season as this!
  6. Is the fact that a simple lofted throughball gets to the striker every time and that ridiculous ease of which chips are successful that really grind my gears!!
  7. It amazes me how many people spell this wrong. Aside from that, I agree, i think we are already safe and its Stockport, Wycombe, Southend, Gillingham/Tranmere who are down. In two minds about the trannies though as to whether I want them to go down. One one hand it would be great to see them struggle in the bottom tier for years to come, but on the other I would miss the games between us (especially 1-0 wins at PP).
  8. Personally, If Haye can land a punch (that certainly wasnt flush) onto 7ft Valuev's chin and make him stagger to the ropes as though he's necked 20 pints then i'm fairly confident he can hurt Vitali to the point where he could possibly go down. Although I'm in agreement with you that he is one hard bastard, he should be able to tag his chin with a little more success and venom than he could on Valuev. The only thing that worries me is that we haven't really seen what Haye's chin is like since his move up to heavy. Ruiz could only muster a few pats on the head but i feel if either of the Klitchko's lands a bomb on Haye, it could well be game over. Overall though, I feel Haye can certainly beat both, possible KO both. Also, I was at the MEN for Haye v Ruiz and the atmosphere was electric, If he could convince either Klitchko over here, I'd defo try to bag myself a ticket
  9. 24. Now thats where it's at. Unfortunately, FOX TV have decided to p**s on my chips and stop it after this series. No more Jack Bauer, I dont know what Im going to do!!!
  10. To be honest i would snap anyones hands off for 2 draws.
  11. A lorry driver was driving along. A sign comes up that reads "low bridge ahead." Before he knows it the bridge is right ahead of him and he gets stuck under the bridge. Cars are backed up for miles. Finally, a police car comes up. The policeman gets out of his car and walks around to the lorry driver, puts his hands on his hips and says, "Got stuck?" The lorry driver says with a touch of sarcasm, "No mate, I was delivering this bridge and ran out of gas."
  12. As a young boy, Joe was completely obsessed with tractors. He had pictures of tractors all over his bedroom walls; he had tractor toys, tractor T-shirts, a tractor carpet, and duvet cover, the whole works. He ate, drank and slept tractors. On his 17th birthday he was thrilled to get an invitation to go to a tractor factory nearby and test-drive a brand new tractor. His excitement was incredible as he told his family and friends. The great day came and he went to the factory for the test-drive. Unfortunately something went terribly wrong with the tractor when Joe was driving it and it flipped over, trapping and breaking Joe's leg and fracturing his skull. He was so upset and tried to sue the tractor company for negligence. But the company would have none of it and told there was no liability and He could get lost! You can imagine he was very annoyed with tractors after this and vowed to shed them from his life completely and forever. All the posters came down, the toys were given away - tractors were GONE. Many years later, Joe went into a bar for a drink. Inside, the cigarette and cigar smoke was terrible but through it he saw a beautiful girl seated at the bar on her own. Tears were streaming down her face. Joe asked her what was wrong and she said that the smoke was making her eyes sting and stream with tears. With that, Joe looked around and then took a huge breath, sucking in all the smoke. He then walked outside into the car park and blew all the smoke out again. He goes back into the bar where the air is now clear and sweet and sits down next to the girl. "That was amazing!" she said, "How did you do that?" "No problem", said Joe "I'm an ex-tractor fan"
  13. I owned every PES from the beginning and Fifa was nowhere near it, that was until this year when a couple of my mates (who were also PES fanatics) switched and told me that Fifa 10 is the korean meatballs!! Fifa 10 is quality, still toying with the idea of buying Fifa WC2010 (my decision will be helped if i saw a good few articles bigging it up though)!!
  14. Personally, I think i would crush you. Add me: hurrikeen P.S "I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you"
  15. Just bagged Matt Holland on a free aswell as DM cover. Just toying with the idea of putting Corry Evans at CB alongside Rubes or Greegs, not decided yet though. Mifsud and Tyson have started to form a decent partnership now and after just destroying Yeovil at BP things are hopefully picking up. Oldham 2-3e Tottenham (League Cup R2) Brentford 1-1 Oldham Oldham 0-1 Huddersfield (JPT R1) Bristol Rovers 1-4 Oldham Oldham 1-1 Hartlepool Oldham 1-1 Carlisle Southend 1-3 Oldham Oldham 2-3 MK Dons Oldham 6-1 Yeovil Mifsud 13 (8) Tyson 14 (8) Also as a bonus, Man City being my parent club have just offered me John Fleck for the season!!
  16. Just started an Oldham one myself. Few teething problems to start with after a radical overhaul of the squad. Immediately cashed in on the Micah Richards sell-on clause and bagged myself £2.93m which set me up very nicely. Players in: Fran Merida (Arsenal) £1m Ben Alnwick (Spurs) 475K Nathan Tyson (Forest) 300K Andrea Orlandi (Swansea) 240K Vratislav Gresko (Free) Michael Mifsud (Free) Joseph-Desire Job (Free) Ritchie De Laet (Man U) Loan Corry Evans (Man U) Loan Nacer Barazite (Arsenal) Loan Not sold anyone yet so got quite an in depth squad. Good team of reserves and under 18's. Games so far: Oldham 0-0 Stockport Oldham 3-0 Darlington (League Cup R1) Leyton Orient 1-0 Oldham Millwall 0-1 Oldham Oldham 4-1 Swindon I've got Spurs at home in the 2nd round so hopefully some revenue to be brought in. Here's to a successful season....hopefully!!!
  17. I'll also be watchin Haye Ruiz....looking forward to it, much more than the Oldham game and a reason why I aint going!!! I'll be in Walkabout in town watchin Manure V Chelsea followed by an all day bender. Now thats a day out!!!
  18. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ted/8583044.stm I would much rather have Jim Gannon than this current waste of oxygen at the moment. And seen as though he wishes to stay closer to home, can you get much closer to Stockport than us???
  19. I've been looking at the remaining fixtures and come to the conclusion that we could do with winning it least 6 out of the next 7 games. Exeter (A) Leyton Orient (H) Wycombe (H) Stockport (A) Brighton (H) Brentford (H) Gillingham (H) Realistically we should be winning all of these and only 6 wins minimum would keep me happy because out of the remaining fixtures after that I am not so optimistic..... Huddersfield (A) Bristol Rovers (H) MK Dongs (A) Carlisle (A) Southampton (A) Southend (H) Yeovil (A) Charlton (H) I can only see us winning 2 of those games. So thats 24 pts im hoping/expecting....will that be enough and can anybody honestly believe we can even take 24 pts let alone any more?! OWTB
