My theory with Latics this season and going back down the years. We'll beat most teams at home and draw a few. Away we will perfom against the better teams but come a cropper when we the favourites against the poor teams. Not sure if stats back this up!! Easy win against Yeovil but will struggle at Cheltenham and Northampton.

Shez has been going on about having more experience and voices in the team. Now weve got the most experienced teamin the division and one of the oldest and doesn't seem to have helpedus. All I saw today was players arguing and moaning with themselves, the referee and the manager. Crossely, Gregan, Hazell, Allott, Whittaker, Liddell, Hughes and Brett Ordinary all have at least 300 league games each behind them. Thats 8 of the 11 that started today and Maher on the bench. Lets have the right mix, Smalley needs to be given a long run in the team and lets get back to 4 defenders with Lomax back in instead of 3 defenders with Jones playing as a 2nd left winger. The Ormerod gamble hasn't and won't pay off, he was knakered after 20 minutes today and his touch and lack of pace was alarming, give Davies and Hughes an extended run, remember Hereford the only league game theyve started together and we got 4 goals. Come on Shez it isn't rocket science.

You can have a lift if you meet us in Gloucester at 12.00 Saturday. Going down on Thursday to warm up for the Swindon game. Going down early for a few games of golf and a couple of nights on the lash. Usually do well at Swindon.

According to Latics website got what we deserved. Unfortunately not suprised as we always lose down there. Looking good for playoffs which I'll take, no team dominating the league yet though, still early days.

Hughes - No O Grady - My choice, get to Cheltenham for a month and see if you can bang a few in and come back a better player Davies - Just seems to be finding a bit of form, potentially a very good player in this division Wolf - Never start a game for Latics again, so maybe send him to Macc or something Lewis - Keep him here he'll learn a lot off Hughes and Ormerod

With there run of results Turner must be facing the chop. Luckily for him he's the chairman so he'll have to fire himself.

Danny Jones must be the best all round left back I've seen at Latics for a long, long while. M.O.M against Stockport. Great goal and M.O.M today. Good in the air, great shot, skillfull and attacking....what more do you want. Sign him up for the season. Wolves left back must be decent!

Definately Crossely number 1. Greg needs to work on his kicking, kicked poorly at Burnley and couple of dodgy hoofs today. One for next season.

Played well, looked dangerous. Looked sharper when Lewis came on for some reason. In my starting 11 next week.

We also played Allott, Whittaker and Maher at Burnley and that didn't work. Play Maher against Stockport but tell him to bomb forward at every opportunity...don't just accept that hes going to play in the same position as Allott. Think Mahers a good player just not had time to settle yet.
