    The guy is a good league 1 player and will get better. Can we not have a thread without player bashing? Its all well and good selling players but you then need to get someone in better in to replace them and I dont know if anyone noticed but we are not a rich club.

    Fair enough it was more how you worded you previous post to be honest (just sounded a bit patronising). I think values are a lot more unclear when you have a young player as you are paying for potential rather than ability. I think a lot of people were shocked when we got £500k for Trotman. Also the lad that went to Everton (and has recently been release), cant remember his name but they signed him for a fee and he had not played for our first team.

    Its called an opinion. A player is valued at what someone is willing to pay for them. Just because I value someone differently to you doesnt mean im wrong (or right). Why dont you just tell us all what our players are worth as you seem to know it all.

    Neil Trotman - sold for £500k after 20 1st team games. £300k isnt unrealistic for someone thats played 50+ first team games for us. Also, its not that expensive if they sell him on a year a two later for two or three times the amount they paid for him. £300 - 500k isnt much for a club like Norwich.

    I think £300k would be a fair offer. I would rather keep him but we aren't exactly a rich club and I feel a decent offer would be accepted.
