My dad says he knew him a bit back in the day. When he was involved with the youth team, Fred let him play in a try-out game with other youngsters when he had only turned up to watch my uncle play. He's quite upset about this news.

We needed backup on the wing, at left back, and at centre back. Livermore does all 3! All signs point to this being a good signing, it will be interesting to see where he is slotted in. As it was presumably done after 5pm, he can only come to us on a short-term loan, so, if extended, his loan stay can last until Saturday May 3rd.

I'm glad we have someone who can play centre back, if anything had happened to Stam or Hazell we'd have been in trouble!

Best thing about that would be that we'd get some of that back with our sell-on clause!
