    It is Premier League rules that a player can't play against his parent club. Ex. Danny Guthrie not being allowed to play for Bolton against Liverpool last week.

    More home fans than the Doncaster home game right? but this one was only arranged 4 days beforehand, and with 2 home games coming up so soon, plus cold weather etc. Also, with no season ticket entry, today produced higher-than-average gate money. Althought 55% of it goes to other sources.

    He's only played striker for a couple of years, since Spencer went to Everton and left a gap. It may turn out to be where he's best, but I'm just saying he's played right wing for the vast majority of his footballing life.

    I thought he was brilliant last week, and he wasn't amazingly poor today either. Don't understand why so many people are on his back all of a sudden.

    I believe rules have changed since Allott scored against us on loan, and that Ricketts will not be allowed to play against us.

    Looks like there could be an Oldham side in next year's Masters competition, but we could be competing with Stockport for a place going by the official site. Worth bombarding them with emails to show we'd take more to the MEN Arena than Stockport? It'd be a good distraction in the summer! EDIT: Confirmed!
