    Good signing in the long-term, but I hope Penney doesn't drop Brill immediately. He was starting to play much better and with some confidence too.

    I think it was more doing him a favour to help him take part in pre-season training and didn't impress the training staff either way.

    It would most certainly be rather funny if people log on tomorrow expecting a Press Conference announcement only to find an interview with the head groundsman or a physio notes article after all this

    +1. On the positive side, it will up the attendances. Maybe stating "the past" regarding my earlier post was too generic on reflection, but I don't think Ritchie in particular would be the right appointment. I would have Dowie back like a shot til the end of the season, but I'd be even more surprised if he took it.
