Though toady was poor, and to be fair the recent post about bad wins was right, is now really the right time to dispose of a manager? we have just gone forur game unbeaten with two wins and two draws. Eight points from four games is far from relegation and quite a good run. I agree we were poor today and to be fair I cant recall a good performance this year but where do we go now? Sack the manager and ponder for a couple of weeks about a replacement? suicide. Stick with Penney and risk the no taker route of season ticket sales? who said club ownership was easy? TTA havesome real decision making to do if like me they want Latics to be playin league1 football next season

Though i agree with many comments about todays performance and that of recent weeks, is now the right time to dispose of DP? We are now in the closing stage of the season, would a new coach/manager bring enough to make a difference? I hear TTA are worried about next years season tickets and rightly so, i chose this season not to renew a season ticket, how many will ake the same stance next year, motivation to go without a season ticket is hard to come by though and with one i never questioned going to BP. Tonight their has been shamefull calling of fellow supporters who haven't been regular atendee's this season, some of those mentioned have been great posters on this forum and have been correct in their posts regardless of attendance to matches. This is a time to stick together and support the team and get behind them. The tta decision will be made and we as fans have to accept their decision and hopefully write this season off and next season will be ours.

How the club is run and whoever is in charge, we as fans of our club still need to get behind the team, another thread mentions a two year plan with Penney, I too have called for his head this season, but should the tta decide to as it seems, keep their 2 year plan then I will have to believe in them and trust if things don't pick up into the new season then the change will be made. No doubt though four games unbeaten is a turn around in itself and hopefully a springboard for us to kick on towards mid table

I don't recall anyone saying Penney is a miracle worker. Just into September of his first season in charge, is this really a serious thread. Through good and bad we are known for getting behind the team and not being suicidal on a Saturday tea time if we get beat, just have a couple of beers and look towards the next game. Penney has had limited time and resources to establish a side in his opening season and needs us to get behind him and the boys.Realistic thoughts for the season are to consolodate our position in this league and mount a challenge next year.Come on give hime support and the time he needs to take us up. Can you honestly think that a change of manager now would do the club any good? What is needed is for us all to get behind the boys on Friday night and make BP a place the boys enjoy playing and winning

Croft must still have knightmares aout his last spell at BP. To pass a ball and move then to realise we have lost the ball agin must have been so frustrating for Croft.
