  1. I’m not going to disagree as such, but I do somewhat feel there was an overreaction to our 1st half. We were poor granted, but it was your typical poor game overall with Solihull looking equally as poor as we did I thought. Hudson didn’t have much to do at all and they probably did edge it, but it wasn’t a 1 sided affair. I thought they were crap for 4th in the league, and shows with a bit of consistency especially at home we’ll get that top 7 fairly easily.
  2. Hopefully wrong on this, but seen on social media that Gardner has been injured this week and has been in the gym with Reid. Unsure how serious, and if he’s available tomorrow.
  3. Dan Mooney linked to us on Twitter. Scored against us for Southend on the opening game of the season. Has left Southend this week, with a mixed response from their fanbase.
  4. Looking to book train and read you can go via Birmingham city centre and on to Solihull or direct to Birmingham International as both Solihull and Birmingham international are around same distance to ground. Did anyone do this last season via train, and if so, any opinions on best way to go?
  5. From a selfish point of view, i’m delighted it’s off. Flown to Tenerife this morning, so was missing today and next week.
  6. Wrexham’s Hollywood owners donated £2000 to his justgiving. Great gesture.
  7. I think Kitching is Ok, as 1 booking was in the fa cup and I don’t think that counts in league games anymore. Thats how I interpreted it when I googled it. Norwood has already served a ban for 5 bookings, so unless he’s close to 10 I don’t think he’s in immediate danger yet.
  8. Not 100% but Hogan was allowed to play at Newport in the FA Cup, which was in the middle of the Altrincham and Eastleigh games which he was banned for both, so obviously FA cup doesn’t count in terms of serving a ban for bookings, so surely it shouldn’t count for receiving bookings also. Anything could be the case with these clowns running football though, so que Kitching being banned Saturday.
  9. Love Norwood’s interview, especially when asked about his partnership with Fondop.
  10. Hoping that Norwood just has some cramp there! Would be a disaster to lose him.
  11. Yeah, your right, commentator confirmed thats the explanation given by 4th official. Changed my mind in that instance, never ever is that an attempt for the ball.
  12. Can’t be a red anymore I don’t think. Double jeopardy I believe, where if that was on the edge of the box it would be a red, but inside a yellow and a pen.
  13. TNT may wanna get some new researchers…. We’ve not beat any of the top 7 sides…… Wrong!
  14. Yeah I saw that but he’s put something more on today, basically his scan results. It might well be his thigh and not his knee, but it sounds more serious than maybe he originally thought.
  15. Looks like a potential lengthy knee injury. He posted on Instagram his diagnosis and whilst i’m no medical expert, terms such as “tears” and “potential surgery” make it sound like it could be a long one.
  16. Wasn’t planning on going to this and was ready to miss my 2nd away game of the season, until the mrs woke me up at 8 this morning and wanted to go, great decision in the end. A slightly slow and laboured start in the first 20 with Hudson making a great save, but thought we were still overall the better side. That last 60-70 mins of that game however was 1 way traffic and I thought we were excellent, and 5-0 wouldn’t have flattered us. Only disappointment was not killing the game off and typical of us heading into injury time having to defend a couple of set plays, but we even did that well throughout against a big side. Everyone played well today but special mentions to Gardner and Norwood who were absolutely fantastic. Great away following, although plenty of faces I didn’t recognise, presumably fans getting their fix whilst it’s international break. There were definitely a couple of Ipswich fans there who came along to see Norwood. Very flat atmosphere though unfortunately. These open terraces really are hard to get anything going at times. Need to kick on now.
  17. Frustrates me at times Lundstram, looks a cracking player when facing forwards and driving forward runs, but doesn’t do it often enough.
  18. 2 in 2 out this week according to some on social media. Obviously Tollitt one. No names mentioned, or whether permanent or loan.
  19. Injured this week, and out for the season. Definitely that type of player we need though, along with some pace out wide. That team yesterday has to be the slowest starting 11 in our history.
  20. I think your being very generous here if i’m honest. Apart from Hobson, we were crap!
  21. Indeed. Currently on the M5 on the way home. We were very very poor today, and to be fair, so were Newport. Dreadful game.
  22. Do we ignore the rest of his overall performance today on that basis? The bloke has no desire and shouldn’t be anywhere near this side. Plenty of others need to look at themselves also!
  23. Agreed, but what an expensive fuck up. We’d still be paying a high % of his wages this season and next as no one will pay all his supposedly big wages at this level.
  24. Matty Palmer ruled out for the season at Notts Co. A huge blow for them reading their fan reaction.
