  1. Is it confirmed that Sheron is free to play then? I’ve pulled him from my lineup prediction on fanhub as thought he was banned. I’ll put him back in if he’s allowed to play in FA cup.
  2. Thanks. Decided to ring them, and they confirmed for whatever reason they weren’t attached in the email. Managed to sort it though, and they’ve printed them for me to pick up.
  3. Has anyone purchased tickets for this and struggling to find the tickets? I had to sign up to Newport ticketing, bought 2 tickets and selected print at home option. I’ve had email confirmation of purchasing the tickets but not received the actual tickets. Logged in to account on Newport site and similar story, it shows a purchase of them, but tickets nowhere to be seen.
  4. I actually agree with the majority of that, which is pretty sad with all the money we’ve spent. What a mess we’ve made of recruitment, not always in terms of quality buy also in terms of the balance of the side. I’d remove the tick against Hogan, who I think whilst Ok at this level is very much a NL standard Centre half who is very replaceable. I’d also keep the tick against Sutton, on the provision it was a Centre half only, and we’d be fine with Raglan, Hobson, McGahey and Sutton as centre halfs for the season. Controversial opinion, and whilst it’s not going to happen i’d get rid of both keepers. Nothing against them, and not the worst we’ve had, but they are just OK for me, and i’d be looking for an improvement in the summer. Definitely not our biggest issue though. Unfortunately i’d have a cross next to Gardner too. If he could stay fit it wouldn’t be a ? It’d be a tick, but he can’t stay fit and I don’t see how at his age those niggly muscle injuries will suddenly disappear. We’ve looked our best when he’s been in the side, and so it’s a shame, but thats football. I’d probably keep Fondop. Green is a strange one for me. I got pelters last season when I said players like him are ten a penny at this level. Then to be fair he showed glimpses and looked a good player, and I was thinking maybe I was wrong. I’d say the last 4 or 5 games though he’s been a passenger for the large majority of the games, and i’ve been more impressed by the player in his position on the opposing side, and so i’m back in the ten a penny opinion on him. *awaits pelters* Hope, Tollitt, Nuttall, Couto and Shelton can all go today for me.
  5. Yea, awful journey home, almost 2 hours. What a dreadful night overall.
  6. Don’t think so. Wouldn’t let us for the friendly there last year.
  7. Seen on social media that Fylde have confirmed away fans can also buy in Block C, seems to be plenty left in there.
  8. I know there were a lot of dickheads there yesterday, but surely someone would of heard what was actually said and the story would come out. Maybe not straight away to avoid a potential altercation, but if someone did hear anything, they should absolutely come forward post game.
  9. Whether we like it or not, Rochdale are one of our main rivals currently. The clubs have issued multiple statements about the fixture, which doesn’t happen for any other fixture, and it’s pretty high risk for trouble with it being 20 mins on the tram etc. I personally don’t care about Rochdale and don’t have any feelings towards them, and don’t see them as big rivals, but of course I still want to win badly. I missed the days were it was the likes of Burnley and Blackburn as our main rivals, for me that’d be the likes of Huddersfield, Tranmere, Leeds etc, who I dislike far more than little old Rochdale. We do however have a fairly large amount of young fans, who definitely see Rochdale as our biggest fixture though, and thats the same their end also.
  10. Cash turnstile open for the away end. Confirmed by Alty.
  11. Wayne Rooney interviewed for the job according to Twitter
  12. Centre midfielder Right back Wide players In that order of importance
  13. Questions really should be asked about that Windass signing by Shez. I know he’ll be on peanuts, but the teams he played for much lower than us didn’t rate him, and he can’t catch in the league below either. Terrible decision.
  14. Bradford keen to speak to ST and NR about taking over at Bradford according to the ever so reliable Daily Star. Has to be a windup that surely.
  15. None of them excite me tbh. I think i’d rather stick with ST over any of them.
  16. It’s still offside if he’s offside when their player passes it. PL had a very similar decision a few weeks ago.
  17. We were on the whole pretty poor overall today, and yes they looked a decent side and played some good football, and had that identity within their game which ST has said he wants us to have, but they created very little in the final third, with Hudson not having to make any saves of note that I remember. We created as many clear cut chances as them. I don’t buy this “we’re a million miles off it” bollocks. The gaps are clear for all to see…. Fill those 2 gaps, and fill them well, and we’ll be challenging, and I think we’ll challenge even with our current squad.
  18. It’s on the official now. Would have been hilarious if we’d have sold out before announcing it.
  19. Where’s the comms on this at our end FFS? Got 2, but less than 450 left now.
  20. All public knowledge, but yet able to still buy Scunny. Unbelievable.
  21. It’s a fine line and see both sides of the argument in fairness, thats why I would never say i’m more of a fan than anyone else, as i’m lucky I can make Sat and Tues games, both home and away, but then in your instance you actually spend more money over a season going to 10-15 home games and paying on the gate etc.
