    Just 5 more needed.

If the missing 5 are De Gea, Kyle Walker, John Stones, Danny Rose and Lionel Messi we have a shot at avoiding relegation.

  2. Completely agree. However, knowing Everton were interested in him, should we have let our only other GK go for such a measly sum in today's footballing climate?

Given Everton now have a :censored: tonne of cash, would it be stupid of me to expect Corney to grow a back bone and demand a decent fee for a lad they obviously consider to be a huge talent?

Wouldn't disagree with any of that. Nothing wrong with forging good relations with a newly minted Premier league club 40 miles away though.

  3. Looks increasingly like he is completely asset stripping us and taking every penny before either selling up (maybe Shez leaving is the final straw for him) or putting us into admin and doing a runner?

If the Everton link is true it would be madness not to let him go on so many levels. Chance of a lifetime for a kid who's not likely to play next season anyway.

  4.

I worked for a public company and had to account for every single penny, perhaps someone can inform me why are small businesses are exempt from transparency?

It keeps costs down. They don't need an audit either. There's transparency and there's bureaucracy. Take your pick, current company law favours reducing the latter at the expense of the former.

  5. So for clarity we have;

    No Manager

    No goalkeeper

No goalkeeping coach (not needed due to above)

5 senior pros signed for next season.......3 of which couldn't get in the starting line up last season in a team that finished 17th

    An invisible owner

    An incompetent Board

    We'll be fine

Sounds like typical early June to me. 17th it is then.

  6. Chron says offer has been accepted from Huddersfield

That can't be true, don't you know he's :censored: and no championship club would be interested.

I bet Corney gets him to work a shift as a waiter in the white elephant of a new stand too so he can claim the sale is not club related and send all the money into the coffers of Brassbank.

Don't bother responding to any of these points cos I don't care and will never be seen on sheepfoot lane again.

    Grrrr!

  7. Right? So basically ticket sales because what CLUB RELATED meetings are going to make any money? We're not going to pay to hold our own meetings are we? The only club related event I've seen is the promotion of the big screen which attracted around 30 fans and I'm sure I read was free food and drink? Hardly a money spinner.

    People need to wake up.

So essentially your original point about match day income has been answered, the one where you said you'd happily come along if that was the case. Yet you're now moaning about an entirely separate issue.

There are a few parallels with the EU referendum here. The Corney outers much like the Brexiters moan incessantly but produce nothing coherent around what's going to replace it.

  8. ....that was Dave Jones' job this morning if you believe the news media.... We could do a lot worse than him in my opinion. Experienced, contacts galore.... And if we in contention for the Blackpool job, one assumes he would be happy to work under our restrictions. Get him in for an interview I say....!

Blackpool fans think Jones turned it down so might do the same to us.
