well let them stand for longer - who cares - its better than sitting in silence and waiting to be entertained that the majority of our fans do. Besides people know where this happens and should be able to find a seat in another part of the stadium where there is a no chanting policy. Get my drift ;)
I don't get it Macca, if the young supporters want to try and raise the roof with chanting and a little verbal sparing wirh the away supporters what exactly is the problem? I for one think that it is great and should be embraced, not subdued by the stewards!!
When fan/s, is trying to start a chant, is told to sit down I do think this has a negative effect on the matchday atmosphere. Plus mate, if that one area bothers you then, I hasten to add, perhaps you should move seats.
I've not had any personal experience of this myself but I hear the stewards over-zelous approach to crowd control is having a negative effect in some parts of BP! They do seem to be over the top! Anybody care to comment?
Perhaps I was to blunt in my appraisal. For me, the text is to big and in the wrong place. Happy to have the badge splashed across the front of my shirt but not the other way around. I think, if anyone, it would appeal to the younger generation.
Here is my take. I don't think we can win the league and unless things go drastically wrong I doubt we will not be in a dog fight either. It really could go anyway from as high as 2nd down as far as 20th imo. Depends on injuries, players form, the manager etc. I do think we could sneak into the play-offs but it is really to early to call. ask me again at xmas!
