  1. sorry this is late post not had a computer for a few days being repaired had back but still not riight yeah going to the game wiv Harrydowds greenshirt and alangrooversperm, me aneutral here me im a Bears fan - not had the best of starts but hopefully after weekends victory over the Packers we are back on track
  2. has a centre forward davies should also be in the box and not crossing it - so dont even go there
  3. same goes about ricketts to you as my last post - defence played well u think hazell was all over the show had is worst game since he came - bertrand at time looked lost - kilkenny didnt have a good game either again dont just have a go at one player - look at the whole picture
  4. the guy was injured but maybe your rose coloured spectacles were in the way from seeing he was holding his hamstring from early in the second half. so blame shez and no one else - secondly Davies was naff and he was lucky not to be sent off, so if you gonna start slagging people off - dont just pick on one person be objective
  5. as far as the crowd are concerned dont think we are going to agree. I have been watching latics since 1977 and the chaddy end always use to be the main focal point of the singing at latics. they were the ones were the singers used to be - not matter if the crowd was 4,000 or whatevea - and were good. now in the same part of the crowd we are not good, now im a big believer that you try and raise your team no matter what and i do believe chaddy enders of old used to believe that too, not now with the old statement of if the team arent performing argument why should we sing which is a load of old cobblers. yesterday on the three occassions the chaddy end started to sing it was good(yes after every goal) but the silent treatment midway through both halfs was just pathetic. sorry diego if i am harping on too mate, only sing when we are winning is 100% spot on.
  6. sad to hear this a true legend in every sense of the word, my thoughts i with him and his family.
  7. Much better terrific display three well taken goals negative people gone away at least for now gregan back to best players must have listened onwards from this game
  8. yeah was a good session - shez was as honest as he could be(gave kilkenny a bit of stick ) and mr hardy came over very well, it took a little time for people to ask questions but got going and not one question was avoided.
  9. cheers claire good spot - for a part timer
  10. some great ones inthe list not so good years two great results for me some early memories late seventies beating b*S*RD rovers 5-0 - when Youngy bagged a hat-trick we beat wolves in the early eighties 4-1 it was roger wylde hat-trick andjohn ryan special free-kick(think it was also on the old tv Kick off) just a couple of old memories for me
  11. still think we will take over a 1000 despite some of the ususal following not being there for one reason or another i.e leeslover, garcon, maddog, harrydowdsgreenshirt, lieutenant pigeon are just some that arent but still will top 1000 - IMO
  12. just wanna smile for a while just a memory from the good days" i wanna smile for a while one memory to stick forever http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=qdu3m03u_ss
  13. thought some of decisions left a lot to be desired - gave him one point for the sending off along with the fact that davies could of gone too. apart from that not very good -
  14. i have to agree with diego - the longsuffering fans have seen times like this before so we have not always had it good - no disrespect diego but you probably started watching us before me - i started in 1977 - when i was 5/6 and we had a few lean years in between then and the "pinch me years" My owd fella for instance who still goes home and away still talks about division four days - so this aint nothing new to some fans but we are still here. i will talk about good and bad times just the same but please dont let our memories of the good times fade away - it s part of who we are
  15. got to agree with you stipe - if Mr coco thought macca did betta than hughes then he defo was not at the same game -
  16. sorry butter usually recognize sarcasm - as i do the same myself, yeah we played well at burnley despite the scoreline yeah was baffling that one - eardley? why not on from start - thomo played there against accrington so shez should of known
  17. in joe royles first season (82/83)we finished 7th the next season 83/84 we finshed 19th then 8th, 3rd, 10th 16th, 8th and 1st a few seasons to get going, if you want one of the above so if you want some back might as well be Joe than one of that load of dross who you say are beta than shez
  18. mr molongo scoring was it not - a striker not capable of lacing mr ricketts boots IMO - # just out of curiousity - would the ricketts doubters swap him for molongo? just curious thts all
  19. so for all the sheridan doubters who want him sacked ????????????????? who do you have in mind to replace him any person that is out of a job of course - that can come in and turn it around
  20. ok point taken there diego - 1st half was drivel from the players and fans - but fans do drink before a home game - but nothing - cant believe it takes a huge multi-EXCESS of beer - before all the crowd starts to cheer we should always get behind each and every lad even if were playing bad i know that attempt was sad
  21. think it was very difficult to pick MOM but if you had to probably Hazell for me - IMO dont think Gregan is as bad as people making out at all thought he has been a man mountain in a couple of games.
  22. Danny not disagreeing with the fact it wernt good - but next week when we go to walsall - the singing will be first class no matter what - this is my point im trying to make - you are tremendous supporter because you also travel away like myself - but the 99% of fans who dont sing at home do away - nothing to do with beer IMO.
  23. no no no - you support hence the word support your team through thick and thin - if your team not playing get behind em to try and lift it - and if you are all tanked up at away games then maybe you should all start meeting at the white hart at 12 three hours after going round to someones house, to start drinking if its gona make you sing no matter what at home. not everyone 1 is p!$$£d up at away games but still the support is brill not matter how we playing
  24. its the on going debate - the chaddy end who THINK ????????????? they are are brillitant no matter what are drivel when it comes to home games, this is supposed to be( or historically) the main vocal point of our singing chanting whatever. - and yesterday were pants its no excuse - if that performance would of been away we would of been on top note for ninety minutes as always. we need to look at ourselves also - yeah its not easy if team not playing well - but it cant do the any team any harm - if we start to try and lift them for ninety minutes in the home games. i did post this b4 - my niece whos seven came to her first game yesterday and after 25 minutes asked me why the men behind the goal dont sing - chaddy enders please explain
