we all know they have to try harder there is no argument there but it is the singling out of certain players - which has always been a trait of fans at BP - it just this season we have more a few players who are being singled out. i will not get into an debate about the chaddy fans again but they again today also let the side down - sorry but its true the fans in the chaddy end were just as bad. today for the first time my niece who's seven came to the game and after 25 mins asked me why the men behind the goal dont sing and cheer, and dont give me that rubbish about something to cheer about - because again zzzzzzzzzzzzz i know i sound like a broken record we do it away. WE ALSO NEED TO LOOK AT OURSELVES TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

na only on the owen debate - but different strikers have ability to play better with the formation doesnt make them good bad or indifferent, Owen is a class striker and i think could adapt his game acordingly - again open to debate. still would leave heskey and owen for next game regardless if roooney fit or not - they work so well together - not a case of your best players but the best team of players - OWEN will be the fist English player to score 50 international goals

sometimes it is strange - people still cant have good things to say - noticed mr footy68(aka James Stannage) has yet to come on and say he is still rubbish yet - look forward to that, cmon dont let us down. Owen was class but must have a big big word about Heskey though he was outstanding last night - unsung hero in that game for me, and Gareth Barry also was superb, would not change that team for the next game - Russia were a decent outfit who lacked the finishing touch, but credit were credit due , it does not matter how the team was selected the first half was still the best 45 minutes from and england outfit for some time.

diego you must have been sat near me (sorry stood) at the game - one old t0$$p0t near man right from kick off had was having a go at thomo - now ok he wasnt playing great but neither was any1 else and didnt bat an eyelid, if any1 eslse gave the ball away etc so had to say something after around 15 minutes, so did "Harrydowdsgreenshirt" and " Alangrovesperm" he answer was "if i was a painter and you asked you fence to be painted green and i painted it brown would you pay me" he never said anything else after this so much so when we went 3-2 up he left? dont need supportlike that .

ok we must agree the first half was not great by any stretch , but one guy stood near rightme from the kick off - singled out thompson ok so he didnt have a great game but in first half no one did, so every time thomo did something wrong he slated him but if anyone else did something wrong nothing - but if thomo did something right nothing. lost it with him and he neva said another word all match in fact - after we went three two up he left ??? hopefully he went back to the old folks home were he belonged

actually at burnley thompson was a t fault for the first because he didnt clear and got robbed - second looked offside and third we were pushing forward and it was thompson who brough the guy down me thinks

Diego - we have agreed and not on some points this one we dont - but thats football- gregan was also a absolute man mountain at burnley - and personally put it down to the fact the other players in the back four. now we know what eardley is capable of but hasnt done it yet although burnley and pool where is best two games - i have no problem with gregan at them moment and would be one of the first names on the team sheet at the moment - how many goals this season we have conceded have been down to gregan? he is commanding at the back and very rarely misses much at the back - to be honest if we had not have had him in the team it could of been worse. - anyway - interesting point but would neva dismiss your view

sorry just posted the same comments on ths post on another one - our options are very limited at the moment certainly up front as we are now down to the bare bones etc - at tleast for this game - again i would still play liddell up front b4 wolfie, Whateva the team we really should be looking to win to get some confidence back if nothing else. Stanley bottom of the coca coca legue 2 and in all sorts of problems too - their manager is a fast talking scouse who ahas always liked to try and play football, who played the game hard but fair as a player - and scored over 250 goals in high levels of non-legue football. but we should be looking to come away with the victory

i thought thomo was ok at first. but yesterday he was dreadful beyond the highest order - my fist few postings abiut him was he not fit and i still say he isnt. thought this was one of eardleys better games if not his best game so far this season - fans obviously having a go at players they dont rate - but at this time think support is the only way forward now, to people that know me i dont like allott but when he came on yesterday twice he made two good tackles which i applauded and shouted well done etc same when he made a couple of good passes, but also he lost the ball a couple of times and gave the ball away a couple of times but didnt slag him off, when he did which a lot of fans are doing at the mo to players they dont like team on tuesday will depend on fitness but Cross, eards, lomax, trots and gregs, then a couple of options with midfield starting the same - you could have macca on right side with allot and jp in middle taylor on left with liddell up front with davies. on the other hand you could bertrand on left side midfiled as that is what he is - with tats right and macca jp or allot(2 from 3 ) in middle - still with davies and lids up front?

There are many posts on here about players - etc.. if you had to play a team of in your opinion the most overarted player to play for us - i.e in others fans opinions etc who would your team be.

first and foremost we need to look at the defence!! Bertrand is no defender and was at fault forthe first - thompson is not up to the job - he was at fault for the second, personally have no probs in Lomax and trotman starting tues night As for crossley - he was not stuck to his line as people say and came off his line more than people are claiming and if pogs was in goal which i would also support it would not have been any better . b4 having a go at crossley look at the defence

mr senor coconut the beauty about football is voice your opinion on here. people wont agree with each other otherwise it would be boring fir instance I dont agree with your comments about ricketts as much as people dont agree with me about others, but i know you not a boo boy but its getting behind the team at the game. Thats wot for instance miffed me off last week against brizzy rovers, must be sat near jims left foot in the NSM upper as one guy was p*$$!ng me off from the first minute. would you have kept chriss hall and matty barlow for instance - I dont know - but we have had the boo boys before and its not nice as players can hear more than fans give credit for.
