sorry chaddylad dont think you can put the quality of ricketts in the same sentence as beckford, this will be the turn around of the season fans onside with ricketts -

4 games gone that it 4 games and already fans making him the boo boy of the team ??????????????????????????????????? Rickets is a quality player and because he hasnt scored a hat-trick in evry game fans on his back, he is not the type of player to to run round like a headless chicken for 90 minutes, ball to feet with ricketts is the key for me, dont know if anyone agrees but in the second half against Carlisle thought he was our man of the match which shows he will be a force to be reckoned with. personally ive said it before dont think he is 100% fit and once that id fully in motion he will be a real asset so yes i think fans are being too impatient

This guy is true Latics legend i can only re-iterate what has been said - was only a young lad but think he scored on his debut at ewood park, and became my favourite player. Rememeber that game against sheff wed, and remember him going down in front of the ref, which started a major riot. he was a tue showman- no one in the modern game is like this now and think this type of player we never be seen again, was gutted we lost him to QPR(we got about £200,000-£250,000 k) for him and replaced him with Roger Palmer, so he still did some good even tho he left Would be a possible player if i had two dream teams playing against easch other.

think this has been discussed before - and set a discussion about swapping ends as the acoustics are much better in the rocky road end, but gather that would not be even considered, i sit in the old ford stand as was top tier right near the chaddy end so i can hear when they do and dont sing and sorry but is is a small minority that do for the majority of the time, and a large majority for the minority of the time. sorry but it needs to improve you can still hear the away side better.

100% agree Rocky - that there is no reason why we cant be - we have gone to away games and regardless of the result during the match it is non-stop singing its amazing the away support. how can we get this going at home? so wish we could

i am trying to make a point and instead of being diplomatic the singing from the chaddy end is NAFF with a capital N this is the only way i though they may start - as stupid as an idea it was i dont know any other way this will get the crowd going cause nothing seems to! I agree with the fact that the away support is tremendous but dies a death athome games and i dont know why you are spot on that we shouldnt need a scoreboard to tell us but please cans omeone then before and during the game wake the other 90% up especially if we are only one goal up, drawing or god forbid losing once again it was a naff idea but something or someone needs to get us going

i would be good to use this to see if certain other plays and players playing in different positions to see if people could possible play in certain postions, we have all had our own thoughts but can anyone else play right side midfield apart from lids or left side apart from taylor for example would like to see ricketts, kilkenny and thompson play only because they looked a little tired at the end and the more match play the better, i think whoever plays on tues we will win and would be good to try one or two things.

how the hell gregan didnt get the man of the macth he was a man mountain and by far our best player, Crossley did ok - made a couple of brilliant saves Eardley - not sure whats goiing on with Neil, his performances at the end of last season and yesterday were not like him not his best game Giddings - think the lad did really well nothing really got past him , would be happy on this performance to stay a litle longer. thompson - one of afew players who looked tired towards the end - but apart from that very happy with the pairing in the centre. you seemed have forgot mr bristol that this is all about opinions, the question was asked who would make way for kilkenny we all have our opinions and no one is right or wrong. as for diego question the answer is NO i have still not seen enough to change my opinion, of mr allott yesterday how GREGAN didnt get the man of the match ws beyond me, we ve now got(Mr bristol in my opinion) SPECIAL K in the middle of the park with KILKENNY AND KALALA(JP) and would not change them to in the middle, now ALLOTT can not play on the right side of midfield, but do you leave him there or do you start with liddell on the left. that is up to SHEZ but wouldnt split them to up in the middle

in respect of the language in the lookers i have sat in the upper tier for years and yes i swear more than i should but no one seems to bother. you have probably been just a bit unlucky sitting near someone who likes to hear the sound of his own voice. as for the singing i sit near the chaddy end than the rochdale road end and the noise/acoustics form their is far far better. to be honest i can hear the noise from the chaddy end, but sadly it doesnt happen, this is supposed to be the focal point of our singing and sorry but if we are not 3 nil up in the first twenty minutes it doesnt happen, i would love to get a chant going all round the ground like we do for away games when it is non-stop for ninety minutes no matter what the score. dont see why home matches cant be the same
