  1. I'm guessing that depends where you were sat. I had a Miami fan near me. But I bought in the Giants end.

Although my brother was supporting Miami as Eli was playing for the Giants. But he's a Chargers* fan.

*Why did I pick St Louis (and therefore Arizona). I should have picked somewhere nice to go on holiday.

I was in Arizona in May. Great place for a holiday, especially if you like golf. Scorching too.

  2. you missed out not going to Watersheddings im afraid!

i used to stand at the back of the Watersheddings stand with the singers, great days

i witnessed some of the greatest players ever to play the game play at that old stadium

give us a T, I, T, S, what do you do with em - OLDHAM

Who was the greatest? I started going as a kid in about '84 up until they left. My personal favourite was Jason Temu, a monster of a man.

Favourite memory was the 10-8 win over Wigan and the massive hit the mascot put on a fat Warrington fan who ran on at half time.

  3. Aye, there were times towards the end of last season i looked forward at times to going to the roughyeds than latics, though il always love latics. It kills me i never had a chance to get to Watersheddings and see us play in front of 9000 plus. Hopefully they can win tommorrow, kick on in the championship and hopefully grab a super league license when they next become available for getting one, bring some glory back for the club.

I did. They were great days. But alas, I don't think I'll ever see us back in Super League. The public of Oldham and a greedy chairman let the club down when we had our chance.

  4. Am all for strikers shooting <removed>, my point is that if he had thought about it, he could have played someone in. Also this post has nothing to do with Brill. I am a fan of Parker, he does know where the net is, as he found on Tuesday night. A strikers job is not only to shoot though.

Anyway it doesnt matter really, look on to saturday

I thought the handball to set up the one-on-one was sensational.

  5. I'd just like to point out this is a Lib Dem administration trying to promote the development and support professional football and rugby league in the town, in the face of opposition from (self interested) Failsworth Labour councillors.

    That is all.

Is that the same Lib Dem administration that were so supportive over Sports Park 2000?

  6. What the hell has happened? I remember the Northampton game (I think) and sending a text saying "Rubes has been imperious". How the hell has he become such a liability? It can't just be effort (in training) can it? It sure as hell ain't luck. How has he gone from our best to our (second) mworst performer?

I'm completely and utterly bemused by the change in his ability.

    He got a contract.

  7. are you fishing for a reaction off certain members?

I think TTA would admit that when they took over in 2003 the plans were for Premier League football in a 25,000 stadium.

The six years that have followed have opened their eyes a bit and it's been scaled down.

They would probably say they over-estimated the club's potential. Others might say poor choice of managers has contributed to the situation we are currently in.

  8. TTA's first objective has been achieved. We're making the national news only for football reasons, even breaking records, rather than off-the-field activities. Discipline appears to have been re-introduced, and success on the field could follow, if we can be patient enough.

Diego you should work in PR. Alistair Campbell's got nothing on you!
