  1. Just got it mate, your a true gent and good for your word. And for those of you that didnt see the original thread, Tangerinedreams kindly donated £100 to Andy Liddells fundaraising page. * tips hat in your direction :applause1::imnotworthy:

Aww.....bless...it was better that a strip-o-gram...my "mascot-a -gram" instead and made the girlies giggle.....and of course a charity benefitted too. A good night had be both henetts and staggeroos....and Bride and groom where not that worse for wear either...lol...

Glad Chaddy that you and your team managed to arrange the night and still managed to de-robe and meet up for a drinksy/boogie afterwards as human beings...lol...well almost...lol

    Piccies on FB.

  2. OK, Liquids or Tokyos will be a piece of cake compared to 25 women! <Doffs cap to Chaddy, Even deeper respect>

The bird did well, especially after we were/had eaten a curry, we must have smelt a bit garlicky...phew!!!!.....it was for a good cause - charity.

The man and his team are stars especially if children/charities are involved (re other thread posted today) - Chaddy is an excellent embassador for Oldham Athletic and the town.

Still love the way he kicks the others mascot butts on the BBC advert too....excellent.

  3. I can't imagine getting in being a problem. Might be a different story getting out in one piece and the suit intact.

he managed to survive my Hen do on Sat night with 25 ladies....boy that owl can run when his life depends on it...get him on the latics wing....well he has two!!!!!!..............

But Ouch!!!!.....don't envy the "family party/parted" if the moonchester one turns up....my moneys on Chaddy but keep us posted & piccies too....lol

  4. So are you tangerine dreams or underdog?

Of course, as I said, you should get the correct invoice, don't have a problem with frustration over that.

As I said,It's the compliment slip and club envelope I think is a step too far.

Have you considred anger management courses?

He is tangerine dreams..however, having two laptops plugged in at the same time can get confusing....hence I was logged in and he was scrolling through on here and responded accordingly - as me in error. Sorry to confuse

I have to say though, it was a disgrace, the sales invoice that arrived had the smallest white label over one digit of our house number that was wrong and then the address was manually re-written on again next to the address that was printed out.

Please also bear in mind £550.00 to sponsor a player plus a season ticket for one of us, plus me paying on the gate, plus one other child on the odd game is a revenue of £1000.00 for our household this season.

So yes, getting in "right first time" or a minimum, compliment slip with a "sorry" wrote on it is not to much to ask as "good service" means we are likely to re-invest. Even a phone call to ask if it had arrived or even to "save" money further - by asking if we would like to collect it from the ticket office on a match day However, a sheer lack of "can't be bothered" as it looks has us doubting wether we have invested wisely this season. Please also bear in mind that one of us is a recent convert from another area/footy division where customer service at this footy team is excellent.

  5. I understand wanting the invoice correct, but I think compliment slip nad club envelope is a step to far.

There is a Credit crunch on you know.

Imagine the outcry if it were realised you could pay for 3 or 4 players with all the headed paper, complipent slips and club emvelopes used for circumstances such as yours.

Should have got it right 1st time then shouldn't they!!! btw they do have club headed paper so why the need for 2 types of paper if there is a credit crunch, and why the f*** should I have to chase them up after 2 f****** months!!!!

  6.

I remember when they were at pitch level and JR always use to come legging it down those stairs (two steps at at a time) to make the changes verbally - no internal phones then down to the pitch.

Always remember one day JR having to pull Physio Ian Liversage (Tommy Ball look alike) back into the dug out after he was wound up once. Just remember this big hand getting hold of him by the scruff of the neck and yanking Liversidge back into the dugout...

Aww,,,bless the days even when our physio went OTT at game.

Well we will all see on Saturday won't we....ooooooooooooooooooo

  7. I'll try and post the link to that one...you on about the visa one.....lol

No the visa one was funny...this husband actually put his wife on ebay. Answered some very "personal" questions about her bedroom activities and if she did housework naked etc...if she came with a car. fully clothed etc....posted a piccie of her on there too. was a Yank if i remember. Only in america......lol

  8. can't up load it Chaddy but...

Are you sharpening your talons???...."terwit, terwooooooooooooo"........

    Will have a go later

Oh, oh...have just gained access...ebay must be on melt down....did think about who we could sell off on ebay, but are there any "legal restraints".....Human rights and stuff???....lol.....oh dear the flood gates are open.

I have though seen something similar that a husband did on his cheating wife and he answered a lot of "questions" about her too...funny until it got pulled

Shall we take bets on how long it can stay on there until its pulled?

  9. At least i got on, that bus scene took 18 takes and i was at the back at the start of every one, they kept telling me to start right back there, i made sure i was at the front by the time we got on the bus. Out of 18 takes there was only one take that i didnt finish 1st and that was because i got tripped right at the start, and i still finished 2nd  I was pretty impressed with my running that day.

Oh, and Tracey.......£50 should  cover it

£50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...........is that for you to keep you chaddy kit on?????...lol.......

  10. excellent.....how fast was he and especially after the injury he had at Carlise.....go chaddy go......love it.......

Wonder if he can streak that fast too....lol...something for the ladies....lol..maybe I should hire him for my hen do...

    How much chaddy love?????

p.s thanks Prozac for posting this on here and it was nice to meet you at the masters and eventually put a face to the famous name.....

  11. Ok I have my sarcastic head on now...lets all get one of these and stuff the ground. All get fully protected from weather, expansion is easy just buy more and we can create a big hill to watch from. Quids in.

    MELLA_JAARSMA_P4.jpg

EXCELLENT!!!!!...count me in......eco friendly stadium eh......love it...no building cost whatsoever and we can

stay at BP - just knock the stands down.....lol

  12. Cant see anything sorry

we were more over to the left of the video and have posted our photos on face book. I honestly thought they were Burnely fans as by then, they were out of the comp. One lady steward had a support almost over the rail above the players tunnel, arm up back and his other mates then kicked off.

It was above the players tunnel with our players ready to go on, it was later on the OAFCPROZAC said they were our fans and the day after when we looked at the pictures we took at Sinclairs and the incident in the MEN - One lad stuck out like a sore thumb and sorry to say, went for a copper and they were ours. But I don't know why they kicked off.

There was an incident at the side of sinclairs as you walk down to the church but the police were fast on the case I don't know who was involved. There was singing a plenty but nothing racist in nature - the usual sounds you hear on the terraces

and of course - we were brill

Beardy, Rummy and Tindall assessment of the night to me, is a fair one.

Also at the men friends/couples/groups seems to get segregated. We were in a group of about 11 of us and although we entered the stadium at different times all going for a seat behind the back of the nets - we were stopped. A couple got behind the pegs, 5 on the side and the est of us further along. Whether that was a tack tick by the MEN staff to "divide and conquer" as with other fans and to mix it up - I don't know. A successful tack tick?...hmmm

What scares/worries me more that these so called fans do not wear their teams shirts. Annoyomous and that means they can come at you at any angle without warning - cowardly. Seeing another teams colours near you at least you can be prepared to a degree of some sort of reaction and can act accordingly, wether that means adjusting your own attitude to a more sensible one of "keeping you mouth shut" and act like a human being or being a nethanderal..

Has the tide turned?...are we going back to the 80's violent nature in footy?

  13. As a Salford City supporter and ex Chaddy ender I'm looking forward to our pre-season friendly against yourselves at our Moor Lane ground in Salford on Tuesday 4th August - kick off 7:30pm. We play in the Unibond North Division One - that's four leagues below League 2 and I'm hoping that you'll bring a smattering of first team players as well as a few fans to swell our coffers! My best memories of following the Latics was beating Man U at home 1-0 following their relegation from the 1st Division :laught16: and our promotions from the 4th and 3rd Divisions in the early 70's. I still think of Jim Fryatt as the King, remember the brilliance and clowning of Alan Groves and have fond memories of players such as David Shaw,

Maureeeeeece Whittle, Jim Bowie, Ian Robins, Harry Dowd and so many others. Happy days indeed!

Na Na Nana Hey Hey Jim Fryatt ................. Good luck for the coming season.

ps - We play in tangerine so hence the 'TangerineDream'

You also share the same handle name as another fan on here called "tangerinedreamS"....so you are both going to have fun posting your thoughts on here....lol.....its going to get very confusing....talk about split personalities

  14. I must of been near you lot because I was sat behind the guy with the Bunn T Shirt and saw Mr Beardy havin a funny exchange with a guy a few seats along from where he was sat, well i say funny because it made us laugh but the guy he was "talking" to wasnt laughing lol I also say exchange but it was a bit one way lmao

You right as I was the rose between the two thorns....(the lady in the middle)....they were UTD fans and happend to "mention latics results in semi finals..."...Beardy was not happy and "politely (with explitives)..asked the man to shut up or if he fancied a "conversation of the premises.." later..

Beardy was also assaulted in the loos (not sexually either.....) so he was not at all happy.

And the incident above the players entrance...included latics fans, reasons why it kicked off I don't know. But one lad in the thick of it with the MEN security and police was also at sinclair's with other latics fans singing. It was not good

And yes we were "sardines" on the train...and I have gone from a size 16 5ft 7 chick, to size 8 10ft 3inch big bird...phew!!!..glad we got off and got a taxi. It was not good

Footy wasn't too bad, glad UTD decide to field a team this year, but I will have consider if I go next year...

  15. not wishing to sound insensitive, but its my opinion that if you burn a corpse to ash, then sprinkle it out in the open, not much ash will be left there even a day later.

actually an this is gonna sound awful but, less ash than you think, when my late partner die and I decide the life for a life memorial tree would have been a good resting place for him....and not meaning to sound morbid but he was more like "small shale/gravel"...same with my gran as she wanted to be scattered on her husbands gave at greenacres and although she blew around a bit...there were "shaley bits" left on the soil...

so you don't exactly come back as "ash" and the urn is quite heavy too - not like in the movie"meet the parents" when the grans ashes are on the mantel....in fact the mantel would break. Ashes are quite surprisingly heavy...

Sorry about the morbidness....anyway just off to the masters...

    C'mon you blues..

  16. all fair points....something for us all to consider I suppose after we have shook off our mortal coil... Do you think you final resting place is going to be disturbed and does the thought bother you now whilst you are still alive and kicking...?

Yes we are all living history I suppose and the way the population is going, I suppose being jettisoned into space is the only safe option...but

I have gone off the topic, I am all for a new stadium guys, I was just curious/needed clarification over the ashes at BP and what offically the club would/could do about it and would there be some sort of ceremony to remember them in our new home, especially for those living relatives that are effected.....
