  1. No idea Nige. Like I said, a gut feeling. Some had it with Moore, some didn't. Only time will tell. So far as being important nah, not me, well in a Latics sense anyway. My wife, my cat , my dog, yeah I am important to them; my employers I would even say yes they think I am important. Latics - I'm nothing other than a saddened former loyal fan hoped for a good day out without being labelled a glory hunter. Enjoy with your band of ever shrinking 'better than yous'.
  2. Oh, and today, it was a joy to see so many that shared my passion, even if they don't agree with my views.
  3. I don't know any truth, but like you all I have an opinion. Other than the rescue at the last moment, I fail to see anything positive that Corney or before him TTA have done to progress the club in any way shape or form. I have a gut feeling, and it is a gut feeling that won't go away. yeah they have spent to keep us in Division Three, but the ambition smacks of keep them going until the covenant expires. Sign Beckett, knock a stand down. Sack our best manger for years to protect a :censored:ing con from further shame. Even more shame for being even interested in him, never mind signing him. What do I want to hear from the chairman? A cast iron promise that the club will be safe from his and his cronies land buying venture for many years to come. That BP won't be a housing estate in our lifetimes. I am absolutely gutted to have found myself in in a position that I was comfortable walking away from the club in the last few years. I think it is unforgivable the way they (TTA) have run the club into the ground over the last seven years. I don't have truth, only an opinion, but it sticks so much in my craw that I found it relatively easy to go. I miss it every single week, I really do. I still won't go back to BP until changes at the top are made. For me, that's the canker not the succession of failed managers.
  4. Btw. Didnt go to Liverpool last season, nor this. Wont be at Everton or any other game at BP until our charlatan owner :censored:s off
  5. Well I can throw into the ring twenty odd years of season ticket holding and almost 40 years of watching them. But hey ho.
  6. On the back of last weeks tremendous win, I decided to shuffle my backside down to Walsall to break my exile of two years. That is team that is going down. No balls at all. After the first fifteen minutes they were absolutely awful. Muppet chairman. Clueless manager. Don't give a :censored: players. Broke my :censored:ing heart. Keep what faith Corney? Tell the truth property dealing :censored:.
  7. Other than the first fifteen minutes they were awful. All of em.
  8. Not been for two years. That was :censored:.
  9. Due to my personal feelings about the way the club is run, I find it impossible to attend attend these days - though I know I will be back in some shape or form sometime in the future. I just want to say that I am over the moon for all you diehards who have put up with leaner than lean times, it was a fabulous result and performance today. Changy getting injured was a blessing in disguise, Winchester was fabulous in the first half, so caring about where the ball went. Grounds fabulous in the second half, closed down well, put his boot in when it mattered and they both did the simple stuff really well. I have never seen Smith in the flesh, so to speak, but there's definitely a lot to work with on today's performance, he was a warrior. Dead, dead chuffed tonight, at last you hardy few have something to be proud about after so many barren years. Derek.
  10. Not that my opinion matters much anymore, but....... Charlatan. That is all.
  11. Maybe he should buy his kids one of them there golden tickets?
  12. That's an arrange to work in London game if ever there was one. What date DS?
  13. Steady on big boy. I'm no ones glory hunter and would much prefer that elusive new away ground. Wembly, been and done not interested. Give me Underhill every day. #kickitout
  14. I'm not sure everyone will agree, but thank you Lukers. #kickitout
  15. The pictures prove nothing. The kid may be in the act of the armpit monkey, he may also be pulling his top down. The guy seemingly having some banter, could have been saluting - it's easy to catch someone in an uncompromising situation on camera. Racism, and being on the end of a racist attack though is a really difficult thing. When I first started to see my now wife, who is of Indian descent, I got notes through my door saying 'Paki :censored:er'. It broke me, not her as she grew up in a tough part of Derby and it was almost like going back to being a kid for her. She laughed it off, I couldn't stop being upset about it. It's really awful. For all I have fallen out with the club in recent years, and it may seem mad; but it has re-ignited my passion to defend the club. I'm not willing to stand by while bigots emotionally disrespect the players. It's so so wrong. Hudds next week, maybe. Just maybe. Perhaps it'll be to defend the right of anyone who chooses to play football professionally so they don't have to do so under harrowing circumstances. #kickitout
