The Junction (bottom of Ripponden Road) are honoured and delighted to welcome former player and Latics legend, David Eyres to The Junction on Saturday the 28th July 2012 at 7:30pm for an evening of football related banter. David will regale us with tales of his time in the game and there will also be the opportunity to ask questions, get an autograph and have your picture taken with a Latics great. There will also be a raffle of Latics memorabilia, including match worn shirts, with the proceeds going to the fund set up to support people affected by the Shaw gas explosion. Entry will cost you £6 in advance, from the pub. David will also be playing in the charity match the following day at Boundary Park, with tickets for the match available for sale at the pub, as well as down at Boundary Park.

  19. We are opening at 11am tomorrow. It really needs to be paid for in advance (ie today) and if people come in with cash today, we will have to let the places go, because we have been let down too many times before. However, I reckon there will be 2 places left in the morning, so if you want to risk leaving it until then, it should be ok.

  22. Chris Helme makes a welcome return to The Junction (bottom of Ripponden Road) this Wednesday (22nd) to play a solo acoustic show. As those who were here last time will surely testify, Chris gives a breathtaking performance, playing songs from his previous bands, plus his new solo material. The Rookery, the follow-up to 2008's Ashes is due out in the next few weeks and he will be giving a sneak preview of some of those songs.
