    I'm working at The Ashes tomorrow and will spend the afternoon wondering how the mighty blues are getting on. Is anybody willing to text half-time and full-time score updates? We're not allowed to have our phones out for more than a few seconds at a time, so I can't use the world wide web. This is the only way I can think of to find out how we're doing. If anybody is willing, comment below and I'll pm my number. Thank you!

    I was assured by a director of the club that this would not be allowed to happen. However, I am also aware that Simon Corney has an existing relationship with Mr Vaughan. His son fronts many of his businesses nowadays, so that could be a way around the 'fit and proper person' test. If Vincent Tan can get his hands on Cardiff City, then any bugger can get any club...

    The Meet The Manager event at The Playhouse 2 in Shaw is now a complete sell-out. Please do not turn up at the venue unless you have a ticket. Thank you for the huge response to this event. We look forward to seeing ticket holders tonight. Doors 7pm for a 7:30pm start.

    There was a very well run volunteering scheme last summer, which saw the place given a facelift. Work undertaken included painting, cleaning, joinery and more besides. Planning is underway for this to be repeated during the close season. Extending this to more 'white collar' work is a very interesting idea. By the way, people will be thrilled to know that the painting of the Chaddy roof will be completed before the pre-season friendlies.

    It's theatre style, with John Gilder as MC. John will speak with each person and then throw it open to the floor for questions. There will also be a chance to speak more informally with LJ, TP, JW & JB during the interval, when pie supper will be served.

    Our bus to Preston is now full. We can put on another sixteen-seater, but would have to charge a tenner a head, because we are not able to get a second bus for as good a price as the first. Who would be interested at a tenner a head?

    We couldn't fit the name of every band ever formed on the poster. There will, of course, be more bands played than is on the poster. The night is gonna last for at least five hours... The DJ has also promised to have slips of paper for requests...just no karaoke, ok?

    I have already asked Matt Chambers to ask the following question, but in the unlikely event that he doesn't, could you ask it instead: Would Mr Johnson prefer his nickname to be: Boris, Lyndon B., Ben, Michael, Magic...or Ulrikakakakaka? Also, could you ask him whether he drinks bitter or lager? It says a lot about a man, does that. Ta.
