1. Indie Junction launches tonight (Saturday 8th December) at The Junction (bottom of Ripponden Road) with a Madchester night. The music policy on the night is dictated entirely by you...because you bring the tunes! Bring your vinyl, CDs (or even at a push your MP3 players) The only rules are that everything played must related to the Madchester period. The night starts at 8pm and it's free entry! Here is the Facebook lala...
2. The Playershare balance grew by a massive £2,225 in the month of November, largely due to a donation of £1,600.67 from the Playershare Web Shop. As we all know, Dave (opinions4u) works tirelessly to promote this fundraising initiative and it clearly works. A massive thank you to Dave from all connected to Playershare for his unwavering efforts and long may he continue to give us all his reminders! Subscriptions are currently running at £625 per month, which is down on the high point of £850, but we fully understand how tough it is out there. Thank you to each and every one of you who continues to give so generously. If anybody feels able to start donating, all of the details can be found here. The total balance in Playershare as at 30 November 2012 was £5,251.57, which is a great recovery, given that we wiped ourselves out in August, when we made the £9,000 donation to the manager's budget. Finally, there is a meeting tomorrow (Wednesday 5th December) at The Junction for all those wishing to assist in the Christmas party, with 50% of funds raised going to Playershare (the other half to Latics4Life). It'll be 2013 before the next update, so, on behalf of Playershare, I wish you all a very merry Christmas!
3. We will hopefully be running a bus from The Junction down to Colchester on Saturday, subject to getting a minimum of 12 passengers. The cost is £20 for the return journey and the bus departs at 8:45am. 0161 633 2759. Here's that Facebook blurb.
4. Our second football quiz takes place on Saturday 1st December, following Latics' home FA Cup tie against Doncaster. Last time, the prize of football brain of Oldham was taken by a bunch of young Latics fans. Come and see if you can take that prize away from them. This is a football quiz, not a Latics quiz, but don't be surprised if there is a Latics round in there. Also, by popular demand, we are introducing a round on general sports. The fun starts at 6pm, so come on down and show us what you know about the beautiful game. Doors will open at 5:30pm, as people head back from the match and Rick should be with us by 6pm. Rick graced the pitch at Boundary Park in two spells between 1989 and 1995. He is also one of the biggest characters that the club has seen in recent times. His views are forthright, so come down and ask your questions about Rick's time at Latics or football in general. Tickets cost £6, to include a pie/peas supper and are available now from the bar. They will also available online at www.wegottickets.com/junctioninn from 9am on Friday 30th November. Get on this one fast! The Facebook shizzle is here

8. Apologies for the length of time taken since the last update. The current balance in the Playershare account is £2,686.27. The fund is rising by just short of £700 per month. This is down slightly from the high point of 2011, when we assisted with the purchase of Shefki Kuqi, but we fully understand the difficult financial times. Of course, we donated £9,000 to the manager's kitty in August, so it is all about rebuilding now, in order that we are ready to assist again, if/when a request is forthcoming.
9. There is one place left on our bus to Carlisle this afternoon. It departs at 4pm and the cost is £13...
10. Be careful. We're being told that there is no chance of us playing at the same time as Hereford v Shrewsbury, so one of the games will have to be moved...
11. Carlisle (a) 23/10/2012 Departs at 4pm. £13. Crawley (a) 27/10/2012 Departs at 9am. £22. The only way to book is to come in and pay in full. 0161 633 2759 to check opening hours.
12. Chris Taylor's headed winner at The New Den was pretty sweet too...
13. There is one space on our bus trip to Crewe tonight. It departs at 5:15pm and the cost of the return journey is £9. So, if you fancy being at the second away win of the season and you haven't yet sorted the transport, give us a call on 0161 633 2759. Come on Oldham!
14. In this thread, innit: http://www.owtb.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=11771&st=20
15. I think the poster says it all but let us know if you have any questions.
16. Just jump on our (Junction) bus. You can drink and everything...
17. These places still remain. Anybody sat there thinking "I quite fancy 5 hours in a bus tomorrow, to watch Latics at Brentford, a ground we have played at a thousand times before"? If so, get in touch...

19. The Junction (bottom of Ripponden Road) are honoured and delighted to welcome former player and Latics legend, Roger Palmer to The Junction again on Saturday the 15th September 2012 at 6:00pm for an evening of nostalgia and drinking and chatting and drinking and autograph signing and drinking... Last time, Roger ended up dancing to Mouldy Old Dough and french kissing a well known male Latics fan. Anything can happen when the man is in the room! Tickets are priced at £6 per person to include a pie/peas supper. The Facebook event details can be found here and below is the rather lovely poster for the night. We cannot guarantee that there will be tickets on the door, so either pop in to the pub tonight or tomorrow, or PM me for details on how to pay direct.
20. Two places remain on our bus to Chesterfield this afternoon. It departs at 4pm and the cost is £8 per person... 0161 633 2759

The price is £8 per person, so if people want it, please let us know asap. We need to kill it tomorrow morning, if we don't get the numbers, so that people who want to go can make alternative arrangements. 0161 633 2759 wwww.facebook.com/thejunctioninn
22. Yeah, we are full up for this one. The next two buses are: Chesterfield £8 departing at 4pm Doncaster £8 departing at noon
