If your on the outside looking in you would probably go with the same based on last season and our top scorer has been sold for next to nowt with no real "on paper" better replacement. That without knowing what we all know! and seeing preseason if we play like we have we will do alright! Nothing to write home about realy! All I will say is theres always a team that does better than people think. Lets hope its our turn for a change!!!!!

Hes a player who likes the ball on a plate and would never run for lost causes. Think if we get a fee for him and hes not in PD's plans then I'm up for him going soz Pav! I went last night and we were brilliant for the full 90. Eaves and Brooke were great as a pairing and you can see they both have a good understanding of each others game and made the Bolton giants at the back look crap. Jarrett was awsome tonight one slip up in the whole game and marking and keeping quiet Kevin Davies who Ive always liked as a player. Midfield again were brilliant and Furman looks a new signing, I was worried him and Stephens would be bullied off the ball as they were last season but they played their way through Bolton nothing fancy just pass and move. Lewis and Ritchie both out of position put in a good shift and did well. Why did Penney not play Lewis???????? The biggest difference for me is the closing down, workrate and the simple pass and move mentallity, Maybe a factor in why PD is unwilling to play Abbott. Both our young strikers never gave up a lost cause and we almost took the ball off Jaskelinen in the corner. Abbott never does that. Am i getting over excited, why not 3-0 against Bolton! oh yes! Bring on the Trannies!

One of my favourite all time players, as a young lad I was in car park when we played Watford (Ricks former club?) and he told us we were gonna stuff em and we did (not sure of score 3-0 I think). Most underated player in the Premier league and used to pass the England full backs with ease. Just a shame the move to City never worked out as he had the potential to be a top flight player. All that with no pace whatsoever dip of the shoulder 2 yards of room and an inch perfect cross!

I'd keep him 200k will probably just be slightly more than his wages and bonus during his 5 year contract. If the club has faith in him I would keep the lad.

Give the ginger winger time, he will do good this season if we play attacking football. Hes right sided on the left and most of last season he was either injured or stuck midway in his own half defending. Hes a young kid and would kill for the club, The anti Taylor bandwagon is getting tired and very very predictable. I would imagine if he turned water to wine some moaners would say "All well and good son but I wanted white wine not red"

Not part of PD's plans so I would imagine the reserves will be there chance to shine and try and secure a move to another club. Also might be a nice kick in the backside so they step up and try and impress PD. I would of at least liked to have seen Purdie play, we have paid his wages for 12 months but there you go!
