    Maybe Blitz and Gazal were the Careful Christians and Corney always wanted to go for it and speculate to accumulate with decent signings...? Now they're out of the way (ish) are the shackles off and he can play real life Fantasy Football once more............................??? I've got a funny feeling we're gonna do very well this season and our new chairman will be able to say to his mates "I told you so"

    Questions It's been stated the budget in place for this season will see us through as the departures were expected. In a years time, if we've had no new investment in & we haven't gone up, will the continued running of the club with Simon Corney only covering the costs be viable?

    i can't imagine this has been an overnight decision so has it been timed to coincide with new investment coming in from elsewhere?? very worrying on the one hand but it could be a precursor to some good news on the other.

    the refereeing's been very good in my opinion. it makes the standard we get seem even more unacceptable when you consider the so called backwaters some of these refs and linesmen are used to officiating in.
