  1. At least Woolas' reply shows he has some knowledge of what has gone on and that he puts some thought into his reply...as opposed to 'I can't be arsed to read the proposal' and "I'm an egg-chaser'. Jesus...
  2. Well its punter v punter, so its a case of a perfect market.
  3. Scholes was in The Old Bell in Delph on Friday. Not at all drunk and behaving very well.
  4. Exeter v Oldham LOSE Oldham v L Orient DRAW Oldham v Wycombe WIN Stockport v Oldham DRAW Oldham v Brighton DRAW Oldham v Brentford WIN
  5. So...some simple maths...6200 - 3000 (season ticket holders) =3200*2 = £6400 Probable crowd without the £2 deal = 3800-3000 = 800*20 = £16000 Clearly some residual income on pies etc...but how many will come back and pay £20? Biggest issue for me is that we are overpriced on a normal day. £10-£12 to get in is what we are worth, and crowds would be better as a result.
  6. Best night supporting Latics. When Quinn scored I still thought we would somehow mess it up!
  7. You could argue there is nothing to lose by playing Eaves and Brooke up front fr the next few games...could hardly score less than we have done recently now could we? Be very interesting as well
  8. Great night! - Thanks for jogging that one. How about Spurs beating us 4-2 on the artificial pitch..Waddle, Hoddle and Ardiles superb...if you could pass the ball that pitch brought out the best in you..

  10. Very poor. Plus points were :censored: who has to start in centre mid from now on...and er Pav was OK. Colbeck v poor and nuff said about Brill. For them, thought Trotters and Jaidi very solid, left back had a good game too. Lambert different class up front...suppose thats why he cost a mill.
  11. The other thread sparked this one... I cracked my head against a pylon when someone pushed me after McAvennie scored for West Ham 1991...needed stitches! Any others?
  12. Maybe Blackpool, Burnley and Preston should get a cut of The Rifle Range's vast profits from the event as well then. When Tony Blair makes a speech these days do The Labour Party get a taste?
  13. From what? Just making a comment on the game. Jesus!
  14. Very entertaining game. Hughesy playing well...didnt realise Danny J was there on loan. Fair play to the Torquay fans for going up there on a Sunday eve!
  15. Totally shafted by us. Not the worst manager we've had by a long way. Good luck to him.
  16. Come on BRF, put your money where your beak is. Otherwise f*ck off please
  17. Played really well Brill - Not much to do to be fair...solid though. 7/10 :censored: - Like him a lot...as good as Eardley if not better . Sign him up 7/10 Gregan - Superb. 7/10 - Few second half wobbles. Hazell - Decent, couple of mistakes though. 6/10 Gilbert - Jacobsen needs to perform well if he's going to be better than this guy. Excellent 8/10 Holdsworth - Prob not best position but good game - 7/10 Worthington - Solid as a rock 7/10 Furman - Excellent. Classy performance - 8/10 Tayls - Quiet start but came into the game well..worries defences at his level - 7/10 Abbott - Very pleased when we signed this boy. Guaranteed 20 this seson. Class - 9/10 Parker - Good start, faded as game went on - more to come though -7/10
