  1. Cheers guys. Fingers crossed the late ones are not Prem Lge!
  2. Well, to be honest, yes it's a very fine line. And yes, maybe acceptable in some cases and not others. We can only go with what we know. If more correct info comes out, then reasess. I can't recall each, but not have struck me as fair so far, happy to reevaluate with new info.
  3. Because of financial situations and yes if shit. Can only be done on a case by case basis. Of course it could work the other way round and an exceptional talent triggers an extension, but I'd be massively against a player being forced to play to trigger a contract if it's an important game, not if it was a meaningless end if season game. Again case by case. And also forcing the player to the stiffs for spurious and prolonged reasons. It's impossible to define, you just know if the true reason is known. And that might not be, of course.
  4. Stop being played because it triggers a contract extenaion gets a free pass from me. That can be also a Chairman decision in fact may need to be. Especially if it applies to Coke and OGrady and quite a few others. I wouldn't classify that as interference. Is that the case for anyone though?
  5. Why have you spoken to Darren about roles at the club?
  6. What is in your fire risk assessment and what is your legal responsibility are not the same thing.
  7. Interestingly ncome has gone up substantially but wages have gone up even more to £106 for every £100 earned. By comparison, the Prem went up over £1.5 billion in the same 4 years! Although wages kepot to £70 in every £100. Without Sky, or Sky paying less, there could be a huge pop. i
  8. Would be funny if he merely contacted them for a quote and then that is as far as it got when he saw how much the going rate was!
  9. Well, I suppose he's not the only owner dictating who signs. Of course, it goes on. Quite surprised at this. Levy had come in for some stick previously, but it seemed to go away with the relative success. Although who plays seems to be down to Poch. Maybe it's a negotiating tactic, but he clearly is not having the final say. Maybe he wanted Bale but Levy said no! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49175446
  10. Absolutely disgusting. He really cannot stomach any dissent. Although I did read it that the 70 yo asked to be escorted out first. I'm really surprised this has not featured more this morning. Have we become that anaesthetised.
  11. FIFY I think your reasoning is sound, despite seemingly being against the rules. Of course the current owners could exaggerate some drama.
  12. FGR 3 Latics 0 HT 2-0 Bound to score in the first 10 mins 2,459
  13. Checked he hadn't lost his keys and everything.
  14. Although the club policy model has not worked for 20 years, we know that a significant factor is because of the severe financial shortfall of course. What BB conveniently ignores is that the same model for the past 20 years has worked at countless other clubs elsewhere and the new model worked at but a handful of clubs. Even then highly doubtful it has happened with the interference and nepotism we are using.
  15. This, Add in the waste of time and money on the Morocco trip. And then look at who we have signed. 18, 18, 21, 23, 26, 26, 27, 28, 33 Klos at 18 is a tier 5 gamble no reason other players could do same job Harry Robinson at 18 is sensible and fits the criteria, but a tiny number of youth signed up Iacovitti to me is not really a youth, but a fair signing under the circumstances The rest are just fillers on god knows what wage
