  1. I don't think he has saved much, if any, especially when you take the settling of unfair dismissal claims into account (eg TP). None of them would be on mega bucks, Head Coach/ Manager & TP aside. And I am sure ex Prem/championship coach Danny Cadamatri will be on considerably more than Chris Millington.
  2. My first thought, but going back to the first time I post the And staff he wasn't that high and really Chris Millington was according to the structure, but maybe not on the ground. Clearly he was doing a lot of it though?
  3. Contrary to some opinion that he has culled the backroom staff to save money, it is very similar to the level we have for years. Practically why I started this thread to show it had not changed much.
  4. Chris Millington abruptly departed and his position was replaced with a new position of Youth Team Managerwith Danny Cadamateri. Head of Maintenance Dean Pickering Sr moves to Kit Manager. 5. Danny Cadamatri as Youth Team Manager repalces Chris Millington as Head of Coach Development Going down the redundancy route when abruptly repalces Chris Millington
  6. Cheers, was trying towork that out Who was Youth Team Manager when TP was Academy manager?
  7. Not sure where Danny Cadamateri fits in as new Youth Team Manager, and Paul as Head of Academy. No Youth Team manager on the Contact us section https://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/club/contact-us/
  8. Article for MSN on the 1st Prem season. Stitch front and centre, https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/premier-league/remembered-the-1992-93-premier-league-a-madcap-first-season-as-told-by-its-heroes/ar-AAFqe9c?li=AAnZ9Ug
  9. In that post. His La Liga is irrelevant, but his Romanian Champions experience is far more relevant and what he can aspire to and that he could have been playing in Champions League is a good thing, I concede a negative note though. He is that he is fading fast
  10. He played the equivalent of 1 game (95 mins over 5 games) 8 and a bit years ago. Michael Clegg-esque. His 6 goals in 20 games for Cluj as Romanian Champions, and the fact he could have been playing Celtic tonight is massively more relevant.
  11. I think they are planning on buying everything and doing due diligence rather than not bothering and just ending up with the car park...
  12. Same with the keeper, and he is about as effective as him.
  13. Rounding it up to 20% was a nice touch.
  14. He knew the Bolton deal was poor to his current one. But it does not say his current deal is fantastic, more emphasis that it was two years. Otherwise, it's 90% Bolton “I’VE got to stop saying ‘us’ when I’m talking about Bolton”. Wheater fell out of contract and spent the last few months waiting to see if a takeover could be completed, bringing with it five months of unpaid wages. Clearly he was looking for a deal at that point. I had the kids and had to get straight on the phone to the wife to get back from the gym so I could shoot down there. [to Bolton] “Ideally I wanted it all to be sorted, all the takeover, all the money, and just to stay at Bolton because I can’t explain it, I just wanted to stay.” Having already turned down one move to Oldham in the hope of staying at Bolton, Wheater finally started to discuss a deal at the start of last week. It quickly emerged, however, that Wanderers would be unable to offer the sort of security he required, however much he wanted to stay. “First off we knew the wages wouldn’t be the best – but it wasn’t just that, I wanted two years,” he said. “They didn’t offer bonuses, but I wanted the [2nd year] option and Oldham gave that to me. “Bolton eventually gave me an option after 30 games and so I was ready to sign it, even though it was terrible. My mum and dad were advising me against it saying ‘stop thinking with your heart’ but I wanted it, and that was that. “Then one of the staff told me I could come and sign at Bolton but warned me that it wouldn’t mean anything until the takeover happened. I still went to do it – “Am I sad I’m not playing at Bolton? Yeah, I am. I loved played for the club. And even told the owner at Oldham that,” he said. “He wanted to know why I’d want to sign at [Bolton] a club where the future was so uncertain. “It’s hard moving. I have never liked change and even when I first came here it was horrible and I felt like I didn’t want to leave home. There were big characters like Paul Robinson, Kevin Davies, Premier League players who’d been in the business a lot of years, so it was hard. Of his highs and lows in a Bolton shirt, Wheater is only too happy to chat. “That whole 2016-17 promotion season was probably my favourite but if you want the main highlight, it was staying up against Forest,” he said. “I got an extra year because of (Aaron) Wilbraham’s goal and I think a few of us were out of a job if it hadn’t gone in. That was just incredible.
  15. If Liverpool U21's replace us in the League, our interest will be worthless. We agreed to let the Prem U21's into this comp for 100k, how much do you think it will take to allow Prem U21's into the League? Watching the Checkatrade is no indicator of superfan level.
  16. TBF I did mean to type again instead a game.
  17. Do you think he'll play a game before re-joining Bolton when their takeover is sorted...?
  18. Another quick reminder, there is still time to enter the www.owtb.co.uk Fantasy Premier League. 116 entries so far! It's a tough competition, but rivalry all down the league! Previous players should have got an automatic notification. If you want to join the code is hmow15 https://fantasy.premierleague.com/
  19. Phew! It's like watching Bury & Bolton to see if are spared relegation places this year.
  20. Is the potential Prem player the one that messaged you before or the one that was locked out for a bit? Did either enter at the weekend? Asking for a friend!
