    Can't remember if lj's substitution policy was covered. He said he's not scared of using subs for tactical/poor display or to admit he ballsed up on starting formation. He's also mindful of having to play different systems due to weather, pitch condition or opposition.

    My thoughts exactly. These pre season games are to serve a manager's purpose not to play your best starting 11 every game. Tactics, positions every aspect are done for the manager to get what he wants for the players, not so we can see who will be where v Stevenage.
