  1. Do you remember Johnson's other games where we played some of the best football we've seen at BP in recent years? Have you seen anything whatsoever to suggest Dunn can get anything like that out of the same players? Because I certainly haven't.
  2. Did you look at it last season when Johnson managed us? Either these players are terrible and Johnson was a very good manager (which I don't buy considering his record at Barnsley), or they are an average group of players who Dunn is making worse.
  3. Wow. Kean signed at the end of January, Sadler in March, Lockwood played 11 games, Kusunga wasn't in the first choice eleven, Gerrard signed in March, Johnson played 6 times, Woodland signed in March. The only player you've actually mentioned who was integral to that team Forte - admittedly he's a huge loss given the goals he scored, but that doesn't justify the massive decline in performances all round. The fact is that Dunn has largely the same group of players and doesn't have a clue how to organise them.
  4. This is near enough the same squad that everyone raved about last year. Now fair enough we were probably performing above our ability but those same players are far better than they showed today and definitely better than that Colchester team. I believe they are doing their job as instructed, which is part of the reason why we are doing so much worse this season than last - though the players may be limited, Johnson had them organised effectively and Dunn simply does not.
  5. We had two chances and Cornell had more to do than their keeper. Their goal was obvious as we dropped deeper and deeper and gave them the whole middle third of the pitch. Poleon only went central after they scored. I'd have brought Yeates on who offers some defensive cover, even Croft! Dunn's game management is a joke, who goes 1-0 up so early in the game against a team who clearly lack quality and decides that we should spend the rest of the game sat in our half and pumping the ball to Cassidy?
  6. 'Deservedly so', what game were you watching? They were one of the worst teams I have seen at BP and we near enough matched them. We had two efforts on goal, Murphy's finish and Cassidy's header, and sat our midfield so deep that there was a hole in the middle of the pitch big enough for Dean Windass to sit in. We looked scared of them! Anyone could see that their goal was coming, and instead of putting someone on to protect the lead at the end of the game (never mind the fact that we should've continued attacking them after we scored) he sticks Poleon on the wing and takes off Murphy, who was our main outlet and also presses their midfield when the opposition have possession. It's madness and a draw was a fair result for the shocking tactics employed.
  7. As bad as it sounds, I would be willing to take the risk and potentially end up with someone like Johnson who changed things around completely at the end of the season he came in - if we get another poor manager, he will only do what Dunn will and relegate us anyway. I just cannot see Dunn changing this around whatsoever, whereas at least there is the possibility of a new manager doing so.
  8. How my emotions leaving the Ricoh would have been different! Luckily it didn't cost us and I went home a happy man
  9. There was no shot in that match which he shouldn't have saved, it was the most routine afternoon other than blaming everyone but himself for the goal and then chucking them the ball back after we'd equalised when the tamest shot all game came straight at him.
  10. How anyone has voted Cornell I have no idea. Horrendous keeper, almost cost us the game at 1-1
  11. Look on the bright side, it would've been a shockingly boring game.
  12. Wouldn't say miles better than Kelly, he's better on the ball but I they're very closely matched when contributing to our defensive and transition play.
  13. Pogliacomi Lee Gregan Hall Charlton Wellens Sheridan Taylor Baxter Eyres Wijnhard
  14. That's not what people are saying - clearly he is our best player at the moment and I hate to think the state we would be in without him. However, he's not in the same league as Baxter. Baxter is up there with the best players we have had in the godforsaken league, whereas Kelly would not get in a best XI of our time in the third tier.
  15. I don't care that he hasn't had a transfer window, he hasn't made any impact on the team or the club whatsoever and it is simply a continuation of Kelly. There is such a massive difference between when Johnson arrived and energised what was a weaker squad than this one, and the total apathy that both the players and fans seem to be showing now.
  16. Shocking, Bradford were only going to play one way and we tried to beat them in the middle of the pitch where they weren't interested in having it. We had to press them from the front and failed to do that. We also obviously needed to use the width and didn't do that enough when we cry ally had the ball. O'Connell looked very shaky I thought, Philliskirk did ok and Yeates played fairly well.
  17. Cornell definitely looked to have a few dodgy moments last night, thought he could've done better for their first. Having said that, some of kicking was nice and offered a good option, so it's an interesting one.
  18. For their second goal they had three players running at B. Wilson, Croft was almost walking back. He was good tonight but that was criminal
  19. We released him earlier this week didn't we?
  20. Yep, with the 4th highest number of assists in the division - awful signing...
  21. Watch his contributions in this video and tell me that we don't need a player like Taylor. People have forgotten how good he actually was:
  22. The same as Tidser did after his 'star is born' JPT performance?
