I was convinced the sparsity of southern away games would motivate me to go to Colchester.
Nope.
-
I'm conjecturing that their gate v Southend would not be unduly affected by a Tuesday fixture, as ours wouldn't for many clubs from the north whom we could face.
I travelled to West Ham for a Boxing Day fixture 90/91 season that kicked off at midday. I had to set off at 4am. F'in joke! And we got beat 2-0.
4am? Did you walk it?

You have a Green fetish - though we all want him to be great for our club - but a blessing in disguise that a player has broken his ankle? strewth!
It's a very good disguise.
Glasses, moustache, the works.

28 for me. Surprisingly low I thought, but then I am only 26 and do have regular attacks of I'veGotMuchBetterThingsToDoWithMyWeekends-itis.
30 if I include Doncaster's Belle Vue and the City of Manchester Stadium (as was), where I went for the running & jumping in 2002.

Cassidy romping it. Was he that impressive or are his family new OWTB members?
-
Banged a few in for Boro that lad.
You're thinking of Brian Clough.

Black guy, played for Tottenham?
That was Chris Armstrong

Campbell?
Oh yeah, I was convinced it was Alun Armstrong!

I don't get the negativity towards it, its not like we used to get more than about 20 seconds coverage on the Football League Show. Highlights are readily available within 24hours for most games now.
For me the most important aspect of the Channel 5 coverage is the better TV deal offered to the lower league clubs, JPT and League Cup highlights will also be shown.
The format does need work but that will come with time.
I think some disappointment comes from having hoped we'd get better coverage than on the BBC, as the football league is now 5's flagship (only) football show. Unfortunately it's the same format with added audience nonsense and adverts.

Looks like a perfect prediction isn't enough to top the league these days. I'd better start studying average attendance figures!
-
And scored a hat-trick for Cardiff in a 7-1 win at Boundary Park.

One that was removed from the RRE is now in Gallery Oldham.
A work of art really. You couldn't justify that standard of detailing to a client/developer these days.

There's that fresh lick of paint Sky were keen to highlight.

We've been declining since Ormondroyd's signing....

Isn't 4-1-2-1-2 the Christmas Tree...?
And very similar to 4-3-3, and 4-3-1-2.
Hopefully we have more than Plan A1, A2, A3 & A4.
More of a Christmas pudding that, with Kelly in the middle as the sixpence

Lovely strike.

Freephone double glazing?
Giggsy wiggsy, isn't it?
Three up front, two in the middle.
One's gone home for tea!
Marvellous.

He will never live that down will he
The years of ridicule will all wash away when he drifts in from the right wing and curls a beautiful rabona into the top corner on a grey Tuesday night at Colchester. The world will sit up and take note then.

This has the potential to be 2015's John Sheridan signing; an old head that could run our midfield even if he's paralysed from the knees down. He could also be a crock of :censored:e, but I'm an optimist.

Angin that. Happened to me a few Ashes ago at Headingley
Aye, I had 4th day tickets for the Bangladesh test at Old Trafford that only lasted three. What a waste of a day off.
