The fact is Davies is scoring goals and a far bigger threat to defences than Ricketts ever will be for us, you play to his strengths, there were times on Sat and last night when Ricketts won the ball and Davies made a run only for Ricketts to pass it to their defender, who's fault is that. It works both ways for people questioning Davies, where is Ricketts when Davies gets to the by line ?and puts a ball across, if it happens outside of the first 40 mins the answer is jogging to six yard box.

If you want someone to win headers and make the ball stick, put Gregan upfront, he never loses a header. Ricketts needs to start being a threat in the box by getting into positions and not standing there with hands on knees.

Moore made a serious offer to takeover the club, it was rejected, not long after they were kicked out of bp, and not long after that Harbin was poached.

Well for a fact it wasn't Latics pitch to kick the Rugby off, the company the council set up owned the stadium and bought the special pitch for both teams to use, the rugby gave rent to Latics, Moore put the rent up to an incredible figure which a club with 2000 fans couldn't afford (by the way, Moore tried to buy the Rugby club off Hamilton before all this trouble but was told to clear off, seems like Hamilton was quite a bright guy eh?).

Have you considered that only Latics fans think this development would be a good thing? A stadium would be a good thing and residents aren't against that, they are against the 7 floor flats which add nothing to the town. A local paper has to be neutral.

So you don't know about the new chairman and owner who has brought SL standard players to the club and is close to agreeing a site for a new stadium. Some fan you must be if you stopped going because of the owner. And Ricketts was so good that he was taken off and replaced by a kid who caused more problems in 15 mins that Ricketts did in the whole game, oh and the kid now has as many goals as superstar without taking penalties or indeed starting games.

The Chron has sponsored the corner lounge for years and gives Latics reduced advertising space in the paper, theres been full page adverts for the Leeds game for the past two weeks, Mike Yarwood writes for the matchday program. And why should the Chron be right behind the stadium? They've been neutral on the whole subject and only posted the facts on the story.
