Bare in mind that Mr Hewitt was VERY upset a few years ago that the cycle lane on the other side of Clayton had encroached onto the playing fields by a few inches which was against the rules of the town green status granted to the fields and demanded the cycle lane was dug up, because if it was left like that it would only leave to more development on the fields.

I don't see Smalley coming anywhere close to doing and giving to the team what Davies does and I don't believe Shez thinks that either, if you look at Davies record before coming here you'll see he has done very well to get the goals he has which have been a combination of speed, skill and being in the right place at the right time. Davies isn't the problem with this team, we won't magically shoot up the league playing wonderful football if Hughes (who has yet to prove he can be a goal threat) partners Smalley (who has looke like Bambi infront of goal at times ).

Well according to you BB80 (see what i've done there, quite very making rude names out of someones username) he was the best player on saturday, but if the manager dropped him it seems he disagreed, it's not hard really BB80 (Damn, there I go again).

That has nothing to do with what you first posted, you claimed the boo boys had driven him out of the club, but since the only abuse he got was the laughter when announced as STAR MAN it's more likely to be a personal problem given the way he's left many of his clubs.
