    Surprisingly Abbott wasn't a massive earner (well similar to any other senior player). He was offered better money in Scotland but wanted to stay in England.

    Terrier - why's it not worked out for him at Hudds? Just not given games? Like most have said, although it's difficult to judge off one game, he did rip us apart TWO years ago, when we were flying high and Hereford were bottom of the table!

    really pleased bout this.....still think his best position would be in midfield. maybe holdsworth at rb and lee rm? (and then we can put smalley, millar and colbeck back where they belong in the stiffs).

    Would be a good signing, although he didnt do owt at Notts - has he been injured all season or summat? Same for Schmichael - buy him for £2M then free him at the end of the season, despite getting promoted - whats that all about?

    In terms of wages? I'm doubt Xanthi would be able to offer too much more. Just looking at their ground - a capacity of 8,000 suggests that they probably don't create that much more revenue than us. Might be wrong, but a return back North might suit.....

    No doubt I'll get shot down with this, but what about Nathan 'Duke' Ellington? Not sure about the contract situation, but has had a hard time of it at Watford and has been shipped off to Xanthi in Greece.     Holdsworth at RB and Lee at RM would make one of the best right flanks in the division if you ask me....baring in mind that we're likely to keep Smalley and Millar, there's little point keeping Lomax as, with Black and Jacobson available at LB, I can't see him being anywhere near the team. Cheap or not, there's no point keeping him.
