    'Twas in Wefferspoons last night and met 3 or 4 guys who were going today for the first time in ages. It as my first time as well.

    I liked the look of him. In my view he was fast, tricky, left a few defenders for dead with slick turns and had an eye for goal. It may be a long time ago but he reminded me of Steve Taylor or David Shaw. That must have been his first full game for ages and ages.

    I was hit like that years ago. Reckon I have saved well over £2k since then. I want to come back but not till we have some finance and better manager/coaches in place.

    But our current goalie lost us the game at Colchester. His attempt to save the 2nd was pathetic.

    I always struggle. But if you open the App and identify the fixture from the list (within Latics) you can click on it and it open a link to the game. Incidentally, my Latics Player subscription expired last month (I cancelled it for being a sub standard service) but it still works. So I had a free one today.

    Well, our end of season traditional player lap of honour was well and truly ruined by Notts County coming out almost at the same time and their fans invaded the pitch and had wild celebrations. Their manager joined in as did their camera man? I thought that was quite an insult to the Club and Supporters.

    After reading his comments on the Brentford site (Brentford??????) I wouldn't let him anywhere near the club.

    That is so sad. He was without doubt a top player. For years after he played for us me and my mates joked that we used the X-ray plates of his knees to get us some great players like Vic Halom, Simon Stainrod and the rest.
