Yes I admit that the top and bottom of it is that we are not getting the results we need to get us out of this god forsaken division, but who realistically thought that we would this season.
And yes we are in relitivly the same position as we were this time last season but before the LJ out army start just think;
1. We are playing much better football.
2. We don't look like being played off the park when top of the table side come.
3. We're not being played off the park - bar wolves we've only lost by one goal each game.
4. Saturday is proof that things are starting to form and work.
Yes we're not doing much yet but we knew at the start that we only had to stay up this season (which we will) whilst the team bonded and gelled so that next season we can launch a proper promotion push.
Tonight was enevitable, they've just hit bottom of the league and sack there manager so there all playing out of there skins for there position again. This season is going to be tough but we will get through it and push up the table next season.
It will be along the lines of either
Kusunga tarky grounds
Dayton Wes Mellor smith mills
Macdonald Philiskirk
Or
Smith tarky kusunga grounds
Dayton Wes smith mills
Macdonald Philiskirk
It depends about how seriously LJ is taking the competition
Does anyone else think that they don't work together.
They win hardly anything in the air and have no pace.
I feel that the better options are MacDonald with Philliskirk and Rooney with JCH
A point to consider. If koukash does buy us he wouldn't be here full tie obviously (with Salford and the supposed bid for Oldham rugby) so would he keep Corney on as chief exec after the job he has done
I feel there was no forward movement and although LJ did push Jose upfront it was a slightly negative move and when Millar was pushed on it ment we had no height upfront. I don't know why when JCH came off there wasn't a straight swap with MacDonaldAlso I reeled he slowed the play down which is fine when we are winning but when we are losing in a cup match is not really what we need
Very attacking line up!
Oxley, Brown, Tarky, Mellor, Grounds,
Dayton, Smith, Montano,
Baxter,
Rooney, MacDonald...
Subs: Weso, Schmeltz, C-Harris, Byrne, Rodgers, Millar, Simpson...
Looks to me to be 4-3-1-2
