  1. definately more to it, than meets the eye. All seems very fishy. Smokescreen for their departure and new owners perhaps?
  2. There's loads of loopholes in football. Not that suprising that we're seemingly on the verge of being buggered by one of them. Can't blame the 3amigo's for being disillusioned. I think anyone would be when you were expecting upwards of £700,000 to make in-roads to the debt, future transfers, etc.
  3. When did the 3amigo's state there was no money for Shez in the summer. As far as i'm aware, they were saying the opposite and they'd back him within the limits they could afford to keep this club within budgets. Like i've said a few posts ago. The fee isnt likely to be much and if anything, given his age will probably be more sell on clauses than anything else. The club also released figures the other day, about 3,100 season tickets sold earning us around £760,000. As well as stating that it was an increase on the same period last season. They also said it was a decent percentage increase moneywise.
  4. Think he'd be a decent signing myself. Dont think the fee would be that high, given he hasnt featured for Verona bar the one game. Anyone know any Wolves fans view's on him?
  5. Would have been better if they'd just said a bid for Berger on loan was rejected after it had been rejected, rather than building people's hopes up. Bah. Suppose Allott will have to do. *sigh*
  6. Might not be a done deal. Yet. But it shoves any lingering doubts into people's minds about the ambition of the three amigo's and the players Shez is looking at. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKdSYkB-aHc That goal at Old Trafford is making me watch it over and over. Quality strike. Think we'll know who our free kick taker is if he does sign.
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHcMhpX-8cA Good Compilation there Thing I like most about him, is he isnt afraid to have a pop from distance, which is one problem we had last season trying to walk the ball in at every given oppurtunity. Cracking shot on him. Anyone think he could play upfront rather than the wing? Short term loan I guess could mean he'd be extremely good cover until Lee Hughes was considered match fit perhaps?
  8. It says we will know by 4pm. Can't fault the 3amigo's and Shez for this one. Show's some real ambition and he'd be a quality addition to the squad. Be it even a short term loan. Guess that's a 3 month deal? Pompey fan on my msn says he's still Premiership quality if he could stay fit.
  9. Non League - I did follow Radcliffe Borough, as I grew up with their captain of a few years ago, who was linked with Crewe and Forest. He gave it up and subsequently. My interest in them has vanished. Should really support if any, FC United following a lad I met in Ayia Napa's transfer to them from Maine Road. Jermaine Wright. Pretty handy player by all accounts. 8 goals in 18 games for a midfielder. Cant bring myself to go and watch him though, surrounded by a load of dirty reds. Scotland - Celtic. The Family north of the border would kill me if I didnt.
  10. It beats sitting in the Chaddy with a load of 13 year old's who only know the word's to 'come on oldham' and 'oh when the blues' WHO ARE WE?
  11. Gretna dont have the ability to get crowds more than 3,000 either. Half of which will be made up of away fans. I could see where he'd probably like to take over an English club in that respect. Anyone who's watched that Football's Hardest Away days will see how much he loves grass roots football. Even stands with the Gretna fans (all 3 of them).
  12. The 3 amigo's have made it public that people in the past during their reign as chairmen have made offers for the club. All of which have been rejected.
  13. Has someone read about the £500,000 loan to QPR. Seen that the QPR owner wants to sell up. Put 2 and 2 together and got 5?
  14. I thought that. Which is precisely why i've come on here. Seeking an explanation.
  15. Just come in. Can't be arsed looking as i'm too knackered. Is this the same John Thompson Tranmere had on loan and absolutely raved about and all of their fans wanted them to sign. If so. Brilliant signing just to wind them up.
  16. Millwall away falls on the weekend of one of the Blue Army 6 a side team's 21st, so the weekend away is already being planned. Cracking set of fixtures. They've been very kind to us. Forest boxing day, Donny away on a bank holiday and Leeds on New Years day. Brilliant. Only Bristol Rovers on a Tuesday night which is a bit of a bugger. Tranmere is do-able, even with those finishing at 5pm. Look's like I may miss Forest away as i'm supposed to be going Ireland that weekend. I think i'll opt for Forest away
  17. It's not the best and it does get pretty full at half time. There's not many fridges either and the bottles of Carlsberg in the past are either too gassy it just bloats you, frozen (seriously) or sold out.
  18. Mark. I think you are on the next block along to the 'Paddock Army' The Paddock Army is only the last block. The other blocks dont count seeing as they're all to busy yelling at the lino to join in the sing song's.
  19. Parigby. Well there's a username from the past.
