As for Hunt being this next to be forced out is he by any chance the next biggest earner? I suspect he is. -

You really couldn't make this shit up -
Get on the blower to Newport and offer them a 50/50 regardless.

Danny Fox would be nice but I heard Wigan where in for him. -
I honestly don't think he would, there's an obvious job or two he would take but I don't don't think he has it in him to tout himself around to anyone who will listen as has been the case recently with managers we've given opportunities too, it's all hypothetical of course.

Normally take around 800 to Donny in the league, took about that for Dunn' first game when Donny had scored 1 goal in their opening dozen games and Dunn set up for and got a 0-0 draw.

I called Wild a raffle winner which to a degree he is although that could be classed as disrespectful by some he was unknown to 90% of our own fanbase a couple of months ago and has been knocked back for jobs at a much lower level than that of a FL club recently. I've also acknowledged he's done well up until the Macclesfield game but I can't have it that that is down to him it's merely the players picking and choosing when they want to perform and that is probably down to the owner rather than the way they are managed. He's a puppet put in place by AL in a farce of a situation which we just shouldn't be in, he's overseen the managerial duties now getting on for a full month and throughout the whole of an important transfer window and he has as much clout with the owners as I have, unless of course Sefil and Vera are his signings?. I'm not blaming Wild he'd be a fool not to want to take the reigns at his boyhood club but it doesn't make the situation right, for the first time in years the cup gods have been kind to us and it really is one of the quickest ways to win a substantial amount of money for the club but it appears we don't really want to give ourselves a chance of getting through to the last 16 of the greatest cup competition bar none and everything that goes with it, it will be a shame if we come away from the Keepmoat tomorrow after a tight game bemoaning the fact that we were a decent striker or a quality playmaker away from a pot of gold in the 5th round of the cup, let's see what today brings but if there are no new arrivals it will be a miracle if we score tomorrow let alone win.

Ironically if Scholes wanted a job as a coach at say Barca they'd probably welcome him with open arms but the shrewdies at Oldham already have him down as a dud, you have to wonder what it is some of our fans want.

Who do you think would be the best fit for the club then?, it's all well and good running Scholes down before he's even set foot in the joint I'd just be interested to know who you'd favour of the managers available.

What bid do you have on the original? -
That would be nice if true, especially if it's for the weekend.
-
On this occasion I whole heartedly agree, not to strengthen this week is just plain weird.

Atmosphere will be dependent on how the game pans out, Fulham with 100% commitment and it could be special, a performance that is reminiscent of Carlisle or Macclesfield and it could turn ugly. Fingers crossed they turn up.

Correct, there are some serial failures out there that a proportion of our fan base would probably be happy to see appointed....

Yes but without Surridge on the pitch I don't think we had a shot, that's before you take away Lyden' contribution.

Still seems a goer then. One theory I've had is that if it's still on they may announce it Wednesday or Thursday next week to maximise coverage and revenue from the home game with Morecambe, run some sort of promotion and get the place rocking. Then I woke up.....

Anyone else think that having Blitz rocking up again, pally with AL and lapping it up on the pitch at Craven Cottage as all a bit weird, fair enough if he'd had enough and walked away, I just don't get how he's swanned back onto the scene without a care in the world years after leaving the tea boy holding the baby. It could be quite simple to explain away but I find it strange all the same.

Only by the postman - enough said. He has been to a couple of recent home games though.

That's because Skybet are a business and they've already made plenty of dough on this market. The 10's about Wild just before they took the market down looks a little bit better now.

January Window Gossip/Rumours

The fact we are discussing what 'Wild wants' is a piss take in itself. -
Oh I remember those days, getting absolute pelters for calling out Corney on a regular basis and having to defend myself for not going to see him when he called me out. What I will say about Corney though is he recognised when the team need strengthening either it be the manager on the playing side or a combination of both, strangely if he was still here and not bankrupted us I think we'd still be a League 1 club and I've spoke to friends who've worked for him and have a very high opinion of the bloke, personally felt he was way out of his depth and it was the right time for him to move on. This new bloke has already contributed to a relegation and is overseeing an absolute pantomime of a club at the minute, sacks the whole coaching team just before the window, installs his brother as Sporting Director and fucks off out of sight no doubt until the window reopens, patience amongst the fan base will start to wear extremely thin if he continues to fuck about without any semblance of a plan and he's getting to the stage where the honeymoon period will be well and truly over, let's hope he can sort his shit out before it's too late.

Trains will be packed, I'd also be surprised if South Yorkshires finest allow our fans to take in a pub crawl, I suspect we will be herded into two or three pubs and then escorted to the ground.
