I think we can all agree Turner should be starting, but not on his bill upfront...needs a partner. Turner Forte could work really well but I can still see Cassidy starting at Walsall if he's fit and if not, coming into the side after a couple of games. Green is the tricky one. I have only been to Chester and Blackburn so far and he didn't blow me away in either. Saw small glimpses of talent but too many wrong decisions. By all accounts he absolutely ran the show last night playing in the position he SHOULD be, in the hole. I think it all depends on what formation Kelly plays. Fitting in Green Winchester Jones Kelly and Croft will be difficult unless going either 3 at the back or 1 up top. First names on the team sheet for me are: Mills, Wilson, Kelly, Jones, Turner and I would have to say Croft. 6 weeks ago I put Croft on the bench but he works his bollocks off for the team and has looked excellent when I have seen him in pre season.

Think 1k to be honest, should be more but I just don't get the feeling we'll take massive numbers. Then again 700 to Colchester last year was pretty F'in good. Picked up ours yesterday so there's a couple more on the tally

There was a few but only the lone striker was in the box.

Terrible second half. Really really bad. First we looked bright, sharp, good pressure, lots of possession, but 1 upfront won't work especially if its Murphy (who I thought worked hard first half and had a decent effort) or Turner. Need Cassidy or some kind of presence up there with them. Croft looks the best player so far! Relentless work and quality on the ball. big fan of Mills but he had multiple chances to get in behind in that first half and should look to do it more. If we play that formation he will have lots of opportunity to do that this season.

We should be on the phone to his agent right now! Quality player. Scored against Rochdale on his debut I think?

He was one of the top goal scorers in the league for most of the season...playing the majority of it from the wing and being out injured half of it...in a team that was absolute :censored:e for 1/3 of the season. If true this will be a Massive loss. Selling Forte and bringing in Dunne and Ploj....god help us. When fit and firing he's one of the best players in the division...There's a reason teams stuck 2/3 players on him and our/his form dipped.

Me and my Dad said the same. Looked a quality little player. Would have another look at the young centre back in the 2nd half didn't put a foot wrong. Gunning very vocal and I think he'll sign, looks like he needs games. Turner is quality...The amount of headers he wins for a lad his size is bonkers, excellent timing. Croft looked good first half, everything came down his side. Lot of crosses into the boxing with only Cassidy in there though which needs to be addressed. Was 19 Edmundson? The tall blonde lad? He was absolutely terrible... EDIT: Just read the lad at the back was edmundson in second half? He looked decent. Very well timed tackle when I think it was dieng ballsed up and his lofted through ball to turner was excellent.

Not sure on Jonson Clarke Harris' Scouting Ability but when Devante signed a pro contract he said something along the lines of this lad will play at the top level. I think if we can settle him down and work on one position (Seems to have been used both on the wing and upfront) I reckon he could become really good. Has all the natural attributes and could prove to be a quick, powerful winger like you say.

Think Forte will be on the wing. Suppose it depends on the formation he's going to play. If Poleon can replicate the form he had at the back end of the season him and Forte either side of Turner or Cassidy could be pretty lethal.

Now that we've actually signed 3 players, what are peoples line ups for this? Before this game I can see a couple more signings coming, probably both at the back. How would people line up?

Not a chance we'll bring in any more forwards now. We have Poleon Murphy Turner Forte Philly and Cassidy who can lead the line, yes I know a couple can (and probably will) play other positions but that's plenty he won't use the budget on a 7th potential striker (not even counting Bove). Atleast 2 centre halves to come in now, can see an Anthony Gerrard type and someone on loan from a prem side, probably a younger lad. Maybe even 3 centre halves to be honest. Oh and a replacement for Kelly probably too...

Do people really expect Liam Kelly to be here come the end of the transfer window I can't see it, and I can't see how any judgement could be made on DK because of this either. Liam Kelly's mind was probably made up the second his mate LJ left. If we were suddenly taken over by a billionaire I imagine that might sway him but I doubt there's much DK could do.

Should be looking at decent numbers for this, 700 To colchester last year on opening day must be 800-1000 for this one. Usually one for both the northerners and the southerners being in the middle.

22 year Old tall centre half, seems to be a lot of united fans surprised at this. Might be worth a sniff.

Poleon is a nailed on starter, Kelly wants pace. I can see Forte and Poleon either side of Turner/Murphy/target man. If done right it could be dangerous, their pace SHOULD ruin teams to be honest so let's hope we see more of it (mainly from poleon) next season. Isn't it 3-4-1-2 he wants to play though? Which would imply someone behind two strikers rather than a LW CF RW

What's the crack with Bury anyway? Like have they had an owner change before the start of last season as they spent then too? I don't really think FFP is a factor now really it's being "relaxed" which is just a way of fazing it out. Them and Scunny could be top sides next season.

Thought Jabo was a decent target man, I would take him definitely. Away at Sheffield united he was like Benteke, they couldn't handle him. Not sure what we can afford but I imagine Jabo would be do-able - who knows what better there is out there in our price range.
