God knows how Dale didn’t win that. We where shite. Gardner is so much of a better player than Fane it's not even funny...I think he should be deeper like BP mentioned him being in pre season, but he's told "Dan, Run fucking everywhere". The fane argument will never end, I agree Gardner sometimes tries too much and his passing can be wayward at times, but christ at least he can make a 5 yard pass. He is a footballer. Though oddly, I do agree with Lee Sinnott that Fane is probably player of the season...just due to consistency and doing his sole job of tackling well. Still if we stay up and want to make a push for something higher than a relegation battle/lower league finish next year, Fane should not be in the starting 11. He makes no current top 6 team, no chance. He may win the tackle. but he literally SHITS himself and wants to try and get rid of it as quickly as possible. His decision making in the final 3rd is laughable, Multiple occasions he turns round and just runs backwards as he doesn't have a scoobies what to do. Anyway onto tonight...I don't have a good feeling. Think the atmosphere will be incredible but for some reason I fear a 2-0 defeat :/

Agree with this. Looks a top player Signed on a perm till the end of the season and in an interview prior to signing, he admitted he was coming "for the money". Can't imagine Abdallah is paying him pittance. Sign him on a couple year deal please!

God knows what Nepo has to do to get a game. There's a good player in there, how Pringle and especially Tope are ahead of him is mind boggling.

If he's been shocking what is to be said for the majority of the team, every time he got it Wednesday we looked like scoring. Blackburn unplayable Bury only one who gave a toss and is the main reason we got back in the game (beating 2 men and albeit scuffing his shot so Davies could tap in). He's one of our only players that when he gets it, you think something may happen. I would go Doyle Davies but we need to fit Nazon in as going forward he frightens defenders, either with his pace or he simply shrugs them off him

He picked the ball up outwide about 5 times last night, shrugged his man off and got a shot away.... his goal was him getting it out wide, running past about 4 then firing into the bottom corner Not saying play him as a winger but if Davies is to play, i feel we must fit Nazon in somewhere. Miombe and in particular Gardner our best players today, Gardner again showing some urgency that the rest of the team lack. Hunt had a mare first half, Could tell he's not Match fit and his sharpness is lacking after months out. Their first goal was fantastic, however we should have been 1-0 up at that stage with Doyle being in 1 on 1 then seemingly melted in front of goal. Byrne HAS to come central, he was garbage today. Strolling round, arguing with Wellens on occasion it seemed, We need the old Jack B Back! Fane I'm sorry, he had a good couple of months but he's shocking. Not a league 1 midfielder at all. He had NO idea what to do with the ball when he gets it. That run with the ball sideways right across the pitch in the 2nd half during a decent attack, to then just fall over and lose possession was painful to watch. We struggled to make 5-10 yard passes at times today. Some over hit, some under hit, Some blasted at players so their first touch made them lose possession, some just several yards away from the receiving player, School boy stuff. Not disputing that he is, just if we want to get the best out of him, i think he needs to be central and further up the pitch, not stood on Kean Bryan's Toes for half the match

It's really not, The players aren't given the option of attempting this. He just wants the ball 24/7. Byrne is our best player no doubt on his day, but he's the one who who's dropping as deep as possible to collect the ball. Needs to be told to stay further up the pitch

This is spot on. He's going Deep as he wants the ball constantly, needs to let others have a touch and remain higher up the pitch

Think Gardner has been one of the better players in recent matches to be honest! Only player who seemed to give a toss against Portsmouth

Think it will be him and Doyle against Pompey. Agree about Davies, he tapped it in due to Nazon running forward, going past 1 defender, having a go and Shooting. He scuffed the shot but Davies had an open net to tape into from 5 yards out. I like Davies though, I think he should start. He certainly blows hot and cold, but we need more from him weekly than his performance at Bury. Completely Agree. Played excellent when he came on. Overall I thought we where absolutely garbage the first 30 minutes, don't get me wrong Bury where very good, but we just weren't up for it. Surprising given the following, which I don't care what you say, that should and normally does lift a player. I'd rather 3000 Cheer me on than 12.
