  1. Not that it's only our decision, but would have preferred 1.5 year deal
  2. Would normally go but to be honest I just don't think I cba at the minute which is a sad state of affairs, would normally travel anywhere watching the lads but despite being them at home recently I think we're in for a toking here about 4-0
  3. 1609 sold + POTD - think we're making the 2000 mark. Not bad considering
  4. Don't shoot the messenger but I'm lead to believe this will be going to POTD shortly... Just over 900 gone as of this morn when we picked up tickets.
  5. Nearly 1k gone now, will be looking at 1500 ish I reckon
  6. According to the official tickets must be bought in advance yes, whether that includes buying at Bolton I'm not sure, the words "all ticket" aren't mentioned like Rochdale
  7. Is Barnstormers the closes to the ground that will let away fans in? Any idea how many sold for this? Says "selling well" on the official but Doesn't seem much buzz about it with us being bottom...
  8. Yeah Green is class, he was everywhere at Coventry Think Mckay will start, though I would probably go with Osei. Can see it being Mckay Ladapo
  9. Not at all, what did he do? Barely noticed he touched it. Klok's not done much for me but thought he even did more than Banks. Does spreading the ball wide a couple of times mean he had a terrific game? Green ran the show in our Midfield. Way and above our best player on the day. We only looked decent second half when we binned off the dreaded 5-3-2, went to 4-4-2 and Croft/Osei came on. Would keep Flynn on the bench, needs a kick up the arse. Croft to start for me, not his biggest fan but he's changed the game when he's come on the past few weeks.
  10. New and improved Banks? I did go Coventry...not sure if Banks did. Think he touched it about twice. Saw no improvement really Mclaughlin has looked awful every time I've seen him...SR see's something in him though clearly like you say
  11. Said similar to my dad, yet to see a decent side other than Millwall but that was mainly bullying and :censored:e defending. Bradford leathered us too tbf but again...we have 0 width and played to their strengths so their wingers had a field day
  12. I've been a Croft critic and see him as no messiah what so ever but it's probably because he actually appears to give a :censored: and tries to be positive/make something happen.
  13. Thought Flynn was an incredible coup of a signing but yet another game passed him by, he was awful. Needs a kick up the arse. Thought Croft looked lively when he came on, But then when we brought McLoughlin (who seems absolutely useless so far) he swapped Osei and Croft...who where the brightest sparks for us in their current positions and from there both went quiet. Like Osei...Actually has a go, don't think he cocked up once today. Least he'll :censored:ing run at a man. Other than Mckay's wonderful touch and goal post shot (which he should have scored) again he was a passenger. Thank god for Peter Clarke...What a signing. I think without him we would be bottom of the league and losing these 0-0's 0-1. Well him and Ripley who also is a V good player. Thought Chesterfield were dog :censored:e, but I thought that too about Northampton who we also drew with and Shrewsbury who beat us so
  14. To be fair he seems one of our only players who gets the ball down and will go past a couple with it, and 9/10 finds a pass (Where as perhaps he should be shooting more yes) but he certainly has a touch of class about him Flynn needs a rocket up his arse, simple as. I was ecstatic over him signing but he's not shown much, you can see in small stints he clearly has quality, He just needs to get involved more... Law getting better every game, tough against bradford but any wing back will struggle against Marshall. Dummigan to come straight in for me, who for is tough, I don't think you can drop Law after his performance Sat, but I would give Flynn another couple of games too. Perhaps Dunn? Perhaps even Fane now he is out of the picture and play him CM? With Green playing the Fane role to pickup the pieces and put tackles in. Ref was dog:censored:, the blaming a ref is such a cop out in football...But both at Bradford and Here they have cost us 4 points. (most likely in both games if the referee gives the right decision we go 2-0 up). Shrewsbury where terrible, some over reactions to the performance on here I feel, Thought we controlled the game for the first half hour, then they had a decent 15 before HT. Also thought when we went down to 10 men (and al be in where 3-1 down at this point) We battered them for 20-30 minutes. They couldn't get out really...Osei worked the keeper, then hit the post, then Erwin scored, then Ladapo hit the bar...in 20 minutes with 10 men. Osei HAS to start. Simple as that. He's shown more attacking threat that any player by a country mile. Mckay to be dropped for Osei, Ladapo needs a few games to be fit but 100% should be scoring at the end of this game to make it 3-3.
  15. Yet to be impressed by mclaughlin but may just be fitness, looked off the pace every time (though I didn't see him first half tues). Thought the other lad we signed along with Dunne (Can't remember his name) who's also a winger did more in his 15-20 min stint than what mclaughlin has done so far
  16. Erwin Mckay Lapado sounds pretty ruthless at this level Big fan of Osei but you can't deny that front 3 looks the business
  17. Thought we started off really well opening 15 minutes or so then it was all Bradford. However the referee has bottled a game changing (and possibly defining) decision at 1-0 with the most stone wall Penalty you will ever see not being given Then given an incredibly soft penalty to Bradford in the second half. Still we haven't conceded from open play but if the referee has a ballsack at 1-0 Oldham and gives us that Pen we are probably cruising with a 2-0 lead. Marshall for Bradford was phenomenal Osie needs to be given more than 5 minutes...Needs to start tues. Give him a full 90 and see what he can do. Flynn was terrible today. Clarke is a rock, Erwin is a class above and was surprised to see him subbed unless he was completely goosed. Truth be told Bradford deserved 3 points easily, but the referee cost us a comfortable 2-0 lead (most likely) in the opening 20 minutes.
  18. Well, suppose there's a chance but highly doubt it
  19. Not a chance, happens all of the time when away fans are in a home end
  20. To the people who pay in the home end and are Oldham fans, to be honest if you want to get in the away end if you tell a steward they will just shift you to the away end
  21. 1899 is the figure going around - may be wrong though
