I'll clap Ripley, and I want us to go in for him in summer if we have decent £££ to throw at wages, he is 10x better than Jonny Tinder. However, I hope Doyle makes a fool of him tomorrow. He was over christmas - where you could tell he wasn't himself. Had an engine all seasons but for a few weeks over Xmas he wasn't at full speed. Good player, much needed in this side with his pressing

Davies needs to get in the middle rather than out on the wing and for the love of christ Stay onside! Still a much needed 3 points and will take it, Feel for Holloway at the end the pitch fucked him over big time. Gardner was immense last night, his pressing was fantastic at times.

Agree with Deckyd. Gardner was poor in the past 2 however he was apparently touch and go due to illness at Plymouth yet played the full match. His pressing most weeks is very good. 4-6 weeks ago when we where playing free flowing football his pressing on the opposition was fantastic. The combination of this plus Fane being everywhere tackling allowed Byrne roam freely to cause chaos game after game. Gardners passing was very good today, must have pinged it wide to Dummigan 4/5 times in that first half. Harsh assessment on him by some, he works his bollocks off. His corners alone today where worth a start, 1 was an absolute peach landing in the 6 yard box waiting to be tapped in. Surprise surprise nobody there. Couldn't put it any better. Frustrating as he has talent and his hold up play is excellent, but he doesn't have that Strikers instinct to get into the box and score goals. Not scoring from that cross from Hunt is criminal, had goal written all over it

Duffus has looked utter garbage every time Maybe the lad needs a run of games but in his sub appearances, he's looked completely lost bar winning 1 free kick in 1 match. I would honestly give Mclaughlin another crack up top, Think outside the box a bit, he Will have good movement and press the opposition. Looked dangerous with a big man next to him the couple of times he played up there last season. He won't though, it will be Davies and Holloway or a packed midfield with Byrne behind Davies. No idea why Nepo has been dropped a couple of times recently, should be starting all day long.

Seemed ill to me, heard he was rough at Plymouth. Then again if he is and we know this he shouldn't be starting!
