Of course I would be upset to lose to mansfield. However if we did it would be unlikely to attract a comment or mention in the press outside of either town. My point is that it is not a game beneath the likes of Oldham Athletic. To the neutral we are an ordinary long standing 3rd division outfit. We have had 19 years to realise that but have we? I say no and we somehow want to dismiss the Mansfields the Colchesters The Gillinghams The Port Vales etc as somehow inferior and privileged to be playing us. They aren't . They are like us genuine clubs seeking to do their best for their fans

The draw and the reaction to it for me sharpens the focus of where we are as a club and a set of fans? We are playing a team 12 places below in the league and we arrogantly talk of them as thugs, as a team below our disdain etc Truth is we are 18th in the 3rd division .....again. Let's cut the arrogance and get real?

OAFC accounts? Fair enough but for example did the hospital car parking revenue go through an OAFC account etc.....?

Truth is we only have a good amateur's guess at the financial situation of the club? We have no real idea of income and expenditure? . We have no real idea of who is taking out / putting in Money? We have no real idea who is benefitting from new stand income? We have no real idea who benefiited from the various land deals? We have no real idea how much of theI unbudgetted income from recent cup runs and T V went back into the club? Tarkowski's, clarke Harris et al going for "undisclosed" amounts for example I think shows one the more obvious holes in our knowledge......how much did we get for the houses....how much is the Council paying for gym....what is Sports Direct rent....how much is the refreshment franchise in the new stand? There is no conspiracy theory here just an expressed view that any of us talking about club finances are basing views on speculation or best guesses?

Strange game. They were poor and never really threatened to cause us problems but still managed to hit the post, miss from 3 yards and create a one on one. I thought the game was there for the taking but we looked reluctant to commit to trying to win it. We were better than them but I could have played in goal for them. Strange

Chicken and egg here. In my humble opinion the behaviour of a section of our fans at last years game was that of idiots re enforced by Bury this year. Reasonable for the police therefore to react accordingly. Why would a Latics fan taking a young son to the game not expect the police to provide a safe environment. It is the police's job to proactively manage risk not react ad hoc. Latics fans are reaping where some of our supporters have sown
