  1. Starting my business as a tutor for "technophobes" one to one or group sessions. 10 years experience in the phone and tablet industry. Give us a shout if you fancy it. Cheapest in greater Manchester ? If you book in advance
  2. Just on this point but slightly off topic a little bit. I came across a folded leaflet the other week I can not for the life of me remember where I got it from. It was the front was advertising a meal in the OEC and the back was something like the gym or wedding venue not 100% sure. What I do remember is on the front and back contact details of how to book was published for the OEC it was a email address I think. The leaflet opened up into a double sided advert for latics being the cheapest tickets in league one however there was no contact details for the club on it, I remember looking about 7 times at it. I can't remember if it mentioned advance purchase or not so I'll see if I can find it and post a picture unless someone else has one?
  3. Have to admit I didn't hear the announcement or tannoy on Tuesday of us being the cheapest in league one. Although it clearly happened as many have mentioned it. Mcfluff is correct in regard to if it was announced as the cheapest in league one and you can get tickets at £18 then that is "probably" correct am Not wasting my time checking. However I can see where pine is coming from it all depends how the announcement was made, was it mentioned that you had to buy in advance? Was an actual price given? You have to remember on Tuesday we had a lot of fans who may of not been for a very long time and if it wasn't mentioned as buy in advance and they just turn up and are told £24 quid they are probably going to think wow and that's the cheapest. Personally I think every turnstile operator should inform the pay on the day customers that buying in advance is cheaper, this has happened to me twice this season to be fair.
  4. Just seen something on facebook (I know I know) thought I'd check it out and again maybe there is a explanation for this. According to the notes posted by NNN Simon has said blitz and gazel totally own the OEC. Companies house has corney owning 50% of the shares and blitz and gazel 25 each. That was filed 22nd of March last year and maybe changed I suppose, do you have to announce it to companies house if shareholders change?
  5. correct me if I am wrong I may well be, was it not Simon himself who said it could be televised ?
  6. Got my comments in early before the thread changes to A debate about the length of the cue at half time for a pint and a pie 3 pages in lol. I was very vocal in the summer about what I believed was going on at the club. The protest group was by large unorganised and looking back I wish it was done differently more along the lines of what NNN has done here. Am still not saying am convinced 100% but I will accept I know :censored: al about running a club and to be fair we have never gone down under Corney I just wish we would at times show a little more ambition. However with gerrard and shez signing longer term deals and the appointment of moisley I feel we may slowly be making strides in the right direction.
  7. Was anything mentioned about what is for sale? Could it all be bought, has there been anymore interest if so what's stopped any potential investment or take over? Not the right people? Or price? Was anything asked about why we seem to get next to nothing for our players being sold (I don't know we do for sure) but am pretty sure a majority think we do. Why was the Tarky clause sold? What's happening with that charge from the company based in scouseland? Really grateful that you went and please don't take my questions as a post saying you should have said this or that because I chose not to attend am just curious. Cheers
  8. The pink was class. I was lucky enough to catch the last few years of it. Game finished by 5 be in the shop by 7pm on the day of game if I remember correctly.
  9. I must be very very sad but to be honest I can't wait for the notes to be published purely just because it will make my Friday night reading the comments ?
  10. If we had took a punt on a player banned for taking illegal drugs it wouldn't be a scandal and people would be slating the club. Everton do it and the media have a wet dream.
  11. I've watched it back about 7 times and still don't know what it was given for.
  12. Absolutely bossed that game especially the 2nd half. As Prozac said worst Peterborough side I have seen not taking anything away from our performance. The best I've seen us play that 2nd half all season although I've probably only done about 10 games at a maximum. I just hope that the big crowd and that performance lifts the whole place now and we can kick on. OWTB
  13. My view on both situations. Shez is out of order for it but I still pissed myself when I read it especially the my kids won't be getting any Christmas presents part. The ban was reflective of the offence imo. I hadn't seen the wenger push so I went on YouTube before to have a look. It's clear to see that the push wasn't really very hard but ultimately he's laid his hands on the 4th official and should get a lengthy ban, although I doubt very much this would happen. It seems he has form for this too. There was another video titled Wenger pushes 4th official but that was against stoke and uploaded a month ago, although I couldn't be arsed watching it so can't confirm. As for the bloke from the times clearly just a bell end isn't he. I can't stand the premier league for the blatant biased to the "bigger teams" imo. I'd love to see latics in the championship but tbh I wouldn't be so keen on us getting to the money league in my own selfish way.
  14. I think you mean putting your hands on him. Not in him well I hope so at least. ?
  15. Great gesture. I reckon attendance will surprise a few and am saying 11,455 Didn't Clyde whijhard or however you spell it play in that celebration Sunday game? No seems he didn't some reason I always thought he'd played and scored 4
  16. Let be honest under Lee Johnson the place was positive and has only felt like that since Sheridan returned it's been dross under everyone else and at times comical. He was pinched of us by Barnsley because he had us higher mid table and 5th in February. That seems a pipe dream now. I loved going to latics under Johnson since then it's been a bit meh. Oh and he gave us the 12 days of Christmas song. I think he will have a successful career the more so than any other manger in the last 20-30 years.
  17. It was either on here on twitter I've seen one of our fans post they backed Bristol city to get relegated at 50/1 when Holden was appointed there. Looks a great shout that now. Unless I've imagined this
  18. What a quote this is-you are jumping thru hops over Robinson's sacking and then say this-Its people like you who contribute to 7 managers in 2 years. Personally I'd say it's :censored: performances and :censored: results. Saying 7 like we have sacked 7. 2 made the choice to leave. 5 wasn't good enough.
