  1. Was on 18 goals. 20 got him a bonus. Played against Tranmere and was subbed off after an hour, away at Cheltenham. I believe he kicked off in the changing room. Corney made the decision as we'd started to slip away from playoffs so we cut our losses. I'd highly suspect we got something off Blackpool for the loan too.
  2. Aye...so a club has never benched a player that's been trying to engineer a move away either??? Alright then Arnautović - West Ham I'm enjoying this game
  3. Corney got Royle to drop Lee Hughes coz if he scored another goal it triggered a payment. #AgendaLads
  4. I think you meant £12k "is that it" as in, "is that only how much it is?" Whereas Lags thought you meant "is that it?" as in, as that all the problem is, when it's clear in the point of paying it is much bigger than that.
  5. Not at all. I thought COG had been released...as in...nothing is said and then he pops up at another club. Hadn't realised he was with the Youth. Coke, I knew was under contract still. I just assumed we were finding ways to remove him from the club. AL wants them off the books...no issue with that at all. I hope it works. They aren't available selection. It happens at every club up and down the land...Pulis was told he couldn't play Downing last season coz it triggered a new contract if he did. Stop making it out like AL invented this course of action for unwanted players. If he starts saying Sefil should start over Wheater every week, then I'll start to agree it's still going on.
  6. I presumed we were talking about picking the team (I know I was, pretty sure Wild was.) COG was still being picked and Coke couldn't pick his own arse.
  7. The #AgendaLads can't see the crucial part in all this...so I've tried to help them a little ^^^^^^
  8. No. According to Pete Wild. 8mins 15secs https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p078r2pb
  9. It would be if I ever claimed he hid it from him. I said he hid debts (LED boards etc) and that Corney never fulfilled his obligation to settle the Necarcu debt. Hence he said he intends to sue him. I hope he does. If he doesn’t, more fool him.
  10. I'd be extremely uncomfortable and unhappy with us leaving BP....there will obviously be context to it, should it ever happen... (PS I don't see it ever happening. There will be bluffing akin to the current Brexit/No Deal/Oct 31st/We're leaving & will prepare for it etc.)
  11. Blimey, that's fucking sad to be searching for my uses of the word It is cringe that I've used it. But arguing with a Sheff Utd knobhead on twitter or your sort...it's the only sort of word you'd understand. Got to get on the same level. Bantz eh
  12. I love this new breed of Corbynite that uses the word "gammon" Same sort that uses cringe-worthy phrases as "melt" "banter" and "scored a worldy"
  13. Anyone with a brain knows it was Corneys last season that took us down. He'd dodged the bullet for years. Then had bank accounts frozen, embargos aplenty and begging his prospective buyer to get him some players in. AL took over late Jan...by then all loanees had gone back and Clarke was farmed out to Bury. We got relegated. Sounds good to blame AL for relegation tho
  14. FIFY Few clubs conclude their business until the end of the transfer window. We haven't done for as long as I can remember. I'd like it done sooner admittedly...and I'll be worried about us getting a positive result at FGR if we don't get a CB in before Saturday.
  15. You've posted your re-hash/spin on events in the wrong topic Clifford. AL - The positives is the title
  16. Until the club becomes self sufficient (a long way off) I'd expect there to be a limited amount of money to which it's paying the most important before others get paid. Happens in a lot of businesses. Someone, somewhere is always going to be caught up in that. As long as the debts are heading the right way (down, not up) then it should be seen as a positive. Not having trips to court is the only indication we currently have that things have improved (even if on the field isn't greatly improving so far.) As for if that is happening with the debts, you will see elsewhere that I fully support the calls for more disclosure over the club accounts. Over to Darren & the Trust et al.
  17. Pretty fundamental that considering, at present, the clubs day to day running IS being funded. I've not reached any conclusion...it's a fluid situation to which I'm prepared to see how things transpire.
  18. You won't understand because you simply don't want to. Since my post you've quoted... Players being paid properly now Interfering in the team selection stopped after Scholes left Changed club policy/model to a different approach from one that hasn't work in 2 decades Outlined his plan for promotion within 2 years with a Head Coach and a youthful side He states he wants to balance the books I know it's not to yours or the echo chambers taste, but I'm happy to see if it can work and he can achieve these things. Hard to understand?
  19. Just shows how twisted and entrenched peoples view of AL are to believe we are currently worse off now than we were under Corney. No talking to them
  20. Correct. Only someone who struggles with English would read what I write and think I believe them unconditionally.
