    I agree with what you are saying overall, I just think the midfield situation is dire, we don’t know when the 3 new lads are back from Injury which basically leaves a similar problem to last season in the middle so a decent incoming is probably needed .

    In a way it does but when you think Ward, Lundstram and green all out pretty much immediately that’s a big hole in the team, and the main one which needed addressing from last season.

    I get what you mean but if the rumour is true that it’s a midfielder we desperately need one asap considering the two we signed are out. Anything to try and get us within reach of the top end of the table

    This exactly for me, The three out injured could potentially make that difference to turn us into a consistent winning team when added with the others and it’s annoying that they’re out before kicking a ball in anger. Everything else is in place, pitch, finances, fans coming in numbers, the lot. We have at the very least got to be aiming for top seven this time around .

    Just to round off a great eve I’ve looked at the table 3 games in. Shouldn’t do I know , early days etc etc however Chesterfield are sitting pretty at the top and we are 17th. It’s time to start winning, no ifs, buts, Injuries, rub of the green, leggy players, previous recruitment,fans on their backs or whatever Get on with it…

    They were always going to be. But we should have dealt with them. Yet again we failed to deliver.

    Nuttall just doesn’t behave like a big forward should and the more time passed the more he shrunk away, I think that’s why he brought Fondop on. A potential “promotion “ aspiring team MUST learn how to deal with teams like these. We were weak, even Norwood was disappointing for q so called beast although to be fair he was getting much in the of service as is the usual story with our midfield .
