  1. I’ve noticed over the many years of following us that there are some fans who are extreme in their views whoever the manager is. I’ve heard on the terraces some of the insults thrown out at managers , some more than others . I assume it’s the same at other clubs , maybe not. As in life in general people deal with stuff differently, some shout and scream, some are stoic and passive. I think I’m a bit in between. But I do find this almost hatred of Unsworth from some a bit strange. Personal almost .I’ll give him time to get the squad he brought in up and running, if we aren’t climbing the table rapidly by then well it’s time for him to move on. Nothing personal.
  2. Exactly, I understand the need to “gel” the squad etc and the unfortunate injury list, but catching the pack 2nd half of the season shouldn’t be the philosophy this time. Even with our injuries we still in theory have one of the best squads in this league so should be steadily picking up points From the word go .
  3. I agree, another signing wouldn’t have bothered me but because of the Injury situation in midfield we need one asap in my opinion
  4. Indeed, no such thing as personal responsibility now, prime example yesterday. Nothing and nobody made, coerced caused or forced those fans to go on the pitch yesterday other than them. Full stop, the end .
  5. Don’t know what Norwood is on but it’s not going to be peanuts. ive looked Tunnicliffe up and he’s a bit of a journey man but all at a higher level. No idea what he’s like .
  6. Yes, I think we’ve got to get that new midfield pairing in and green back too. It really could be the difference between top 6 or mid table. but like you say it’s the tactics thing. This backs to the wall thing is crazy, particularly with the players we have now. It “worked” yesterday but another 20 seconds or so and it wouldn’t have worked and we would now be 9 points behind them. Ifs and buts I know but surely that isn’t the way to a successful season.
  7. To be fair I’ve never been to Chesterfield so not sure of the layout but I don’t think anything was stopping them yesterday
  8. How? Without throwing fences back up I can’t see what Chesterfield could have done
  9. Can’t get on Twitter now but I’d love to hear what the excuses are for dragging our club through the gutter again. And I’m glad I didn’t actually go yesterday because rightly or wrongly I wouldn’t have been able to stay put whilst those muppets were having a go at Rothwell
  10. I agree, toxic is a strange word to use. i want him to do well and he surely does. The way he’s trying to do it on the pitch is bizarre in my opinion and needs to change, totally unnecessary way of playing, particularly with the squad we have now. If this carries on (results wise) the word inept will probably spring to mind but not toxic.
  11. If they’re saying that about us after the return fixture I’ll be happy
  12. Yes, just illustrates the measure of some so called fans
  13. Getting a late equaliser against Chesterfield and invading the pitch for goodness sake . It’s a bit embarrassing
  14. “Hold their heads in shame” I’d tell them do one, choose another hobby and stay away from our club
  15. I actually agree, the plan is based on not conceding at all which your concentration levels have to be something else for the full 90. Once you concede what then ?
  16. Yes, it’s no excuse . We’ve invited them to come at us and this is what happens
  17. Absorb the pressure and hit them on the break, usual game plan. Problem is we can’t get past two passes before we give it away
