  1. I didn’t go today so can’t really comment but I will anyway . I fully agree, this crop of players consistently show us why they aren’t taking us anywhere beyond where we are. Really hope Mellon can make his stamp with a few signings soon.
  2. One player dictating the proceeds? Even in this day and age surely not? If it’s true he should have been told in no uncertain terms he’s playing. If it’s dictated playable by the officials , you play …
  3. The third inspection seemed like a formality, I mean three inspections ffs !!
  4. Just thinking surely they need to make a decision now, wouldn’t be happy if I were an away fan now
  5. Bar 4 or 5 of them I wouldn’t be surprised by any of them really. Not one of them has set the world alight .
  6. Is that the same Apter from Scunthorpe last year? We should got him instead of Nuttall, good player
  7. Wouldn’t surprise me, I’d be disappointed if Willoughby went though. I don’t think he’s been given anywhere near enough time to show what he can do.
  8. I think that’s why I said bringing someone in who he knows or managed before who can be trusted to put a shift in.
  9. The point you raise about the disappointment following a good win highlights more than anything the problem we have. Like MM said in his interview, there will be days where we are “off it” but if we are then don’t lose. That’s where the mindset and mentality comes in. To be ready for all comers every game. Chesterfield do it, against the same opponents as us. They break them down and get around them. They find a way. I think a couple of new faces possibly people who MM has managed before might be a good idea.
  10. Another good podcast from the team with Mike Keegan as guest. Thanks lads.
  11. It certainly was, bearing in mind the limp, leggy and bottleless opposition.
  12. I think he’s seen and felt his way into the job now 6 or 7 games in. The players have proved time and again to him and us that collectively they aren’t up to what we need.
