Everton (a) 0-1. Some of our players will never play a better game. 2. Leeds (a) 1-3. Dreamland at half time. 3. Millwall (a) 2-3. Hughes dancing. Ref legging it at the end. Played a game in a vile atmosphere with all sorts of abuse and pots of piss raining down from the terraces. Went down with dogs and came up with the biscuit. dave_ragg1984
Everton, Leeds and Trannies all away this season. Forest at home last year, and Tanmere at home (ok, the game was awful....but we scored a last minute winner and went top of the league, and it was against Tranmere so double sweet!) Latics and England
Only 19 responses to this but some interesting answers. Results were as follows: Everton Away 07/08 18 Leeds Away 07/08 15 Tranmere Away 07/08 10 Forest Home 06/07 9 Huddersfield Away 06/07 9 Scunthorpe Away 06/07 7 Millwall Away 07/08 6 Bournemouth Away 07/08 6 Swansea Home 07/08 5 Tranmere Home 06/07 5 Wolves Away 06/07 5 Swansea Away 06/07 4 Huddersfield Away 07/08 3 Gillingham Away 06/07 3 Forest Away 06/07 3 Doncaster Away 07/08 2 Blackpool Away 06/07 2 Leyton O Away 06/07 2 Mansfield Home 07/08 1 Burnley Away 07/08 1 Forest Away 07/08 1 Doncaster Home 06/07 1 Crewe Away 06/07 1 Bradford Away 06/07 1 Chesterfield Away 06/07 1 Carlisle Away 06/07 1 I think the most interesting stat is that 83% of the votes went to away games In the period covered, we have won 15 home games and 16 away games and so normally a fairly even split would have been expected between the two on an enjoyment level. This goes to show 1) How much atmosphere plays a part in our enjoyment of a game 2) How little feel good factor we are able to create at home.
