bpmarko Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Anyone know how many up until last nights deadline? Don't know the number but the nice lady at the ticket office said yesterday that, though trade had been steady, they'd been a bit disappointed with the level of uptake. That was at about midday yesterday. Quote
RoytonBlueLad Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 2650 more like 1800 Nothing like confidence Quote
Guest oa_exile Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Nothing like confidence I am in a negative mood today Quote
Wozzer Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Port Vale have shifted over 5,000 after relegation. I know they sold 'em cheap but bloody shocking if we've managed less than 2k. Quote
dean 1984 Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 when i got mine yesterday she said we were down on last season, im going for 2,998 Quote
the_carters_arms Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 woman told me yesterday morning we'd sold 700 for RRE so must be hitting 3k for the ground. Still shyte. Quote
bluearmyof1 Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Well there's 3 new season ticket holders in the main stand cos i didn't have one last year and i've convinced two others to get them who didn't previously. Also picked up my old seat from the lookers that i've sat in for most of the last 20 years. I'm going to construct some kind of frame and turn it into garden furniture! Quote
Diego_Sideburns Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Tonight's rarely wrong Chron says over 3,000 STs sold with almost half in the Main Stand, about 28% in the RRE and 24% in the Chaddy End. Quote
slurms mckenzie Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Surely, they should extend the deadline for cheaper season tickets if they are dissapointed with the uptake. Quote
NIKI1234 Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 (edited) Surely, they should extend the deadline for cheaper season tickets if they are dissapointed with the uptake. Their not dissapointed though. Alan Hardy is quoted as being "pretty pleased" Edited May 30, 2008 by NIKI1234 Quote
oafc1955 Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Surely, they should extend the deadline for cheaper season tickets if they are dissapointed with the uptake. The chron says we are on a par with last seasons figures and Alan Hardy says he's also pleased with the sales so far. however I've just rang the ticket office and a girl from there said that the figures are dissapointing and that they havn't sold as many as last year. Who do you beleive? ........ By the way, she also said that the discount price will be valid until tomorrow lunchtime. Quote
Guest M_OAFC Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 By the way, she also said that the discount price will be valid until tomorrow lunchtime. The rarely wrong Chron has Alan Hardy quoted as saying that as well but I wondered if there was some confusion since it wasn't on the club website but if the ticket office lady is saying it then it sounds like it's probably true. Guest oa_exile Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 3000 exile Eh ? 2650 more like 3000 I am in a good mood today Quote
Guest oa_exile Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Damn you and them mod powers <------- But I am not Admin anymore , still know my way around though On a serious note 3,000 is not bad at all at this stage Quote
leeslover Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Maybe the ticket lady wouldn't know how many were sold? Do they process the online sales? Quote
Diego_Sideburns Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Maybe the ticket lady wouldn't know how many were sold? Do they process the online sales? They have to be aware of online sales, otherwise they could duplicate sales e.g., sell a seat to someone who then finds it occupied by the drummer! Quote
